Great Coach and best of luck with the Timbers. Gio had nothing else to prove with the Cosmos and this move was inevitable. He'll be missed.
Snark and the teams future (again) aside, I hope Alecko Eskandarian would coach, he did a good job with the B team and bought in to Gio's coaching style. That ship probably passed last year when he took a job with MLS.
