I'm excited to see our Pumas play once again. I was only able to catch the pre-season game against Tigres, but I'm hoping we start off on the right foot. Let's hope our guys feel great after the pre-season. --------------- BTW, did anyone catch the special series on Pumas on some Discovery Channel? If so, how was it? I would love to see it. Edit: found it on youtube for those that wanna see it
Que buen partido hasta el momento. Me gusta como estamos jugando. Si no fuera por ese portero, tendriamos 2 o 3 goles mas. Espero que este no sea el unico gol por nuestra parte.
Chi--a tu madre Pikolin. Dominating the game and playing well and he throws it all away and worse for a BS decision since the ref was right with the foul and the yellow to Velarde. So not only did he get his 2nd card but he did with a wrong complaint. Idiot.
Pendejisimo el Pikolin. Two unnecessary yellow cards lead to us losing whatever control over possession we had. Queretaro is confident now and is exploiting us being a man down. Jehu isn't playing well either, his crosses are bad. On a positive note, Romagnoli has impressed me these last two games. I like his distribution and control, though it is slow-paced at times and risks the ball being stolen. It's a shame he wasn't played last season. Edit: and now we have Espinoza coming in. let's just hope for the best.
Why the ******** does Servin take so long to make substitutions? We need to try someone else on the left wing and I'd like to see Robin start a game.
We were totally dominating the game and then Pikolin got a 2nd yellow for protesting and totally valid yellow card and that change the game completely. He screwed us. By the way Queretaro has looked good in both games.
That's pretty much what happened. I wonder who Servin will put in the starting line-up next week against Tijuana? Amaury Escoto seems to have some potential based on the last two games. This could be his breakout season.
Sounds like we did ok then? I missed this one but we did look like more of a unit in the first game. I guess we just have to hope Robin can bring the goals.
Wow, the field in Merida is atrocious. I started watching the game like 10 minutes ago and keep seeing players slipping.
At this rate, those storms will serve as a metaphor for our performances in the Copa MX. It's almost as if the dark clouds follow us.
I wonder what happen to Aaron Sandoval I thought he did alright when Veron was out. At this point i would rather see him start next to Veron than Pikolin.
He's still with the first squad, he just hasn't played since C '12. It seems that he's the only other CB we have right now unless Servin wants to move Fuentes there and bring back Toño Garcia as RB, who I'm not too fond of. It's gonna be tough for whoever we place in our defense against Tijuana on Sunday.
It seems that we're getting Jose Ayovi, an Ecuadorian forward. I would rather have us get another defender.
probably just when we used to play our home games there, you know when the UNAM students were on strike
^ In case no one has seen it, that deal fell through cause Barcelona upped the price at the last minute. The Directiva was looking at Damian Escudero from Boca and that also fell through. Pumas are playing good so far against Merida. We're maintaining possession and creating some opportunities. I still wanna see what Robin is capable. He had a chance to assist Luis Garcia, but chose to shoot it instead and missed. Can't complain at 3-0 though.
Indeed. Cortés has been much better so far this season. It is time he breaks out and becomes the star of this team. If he can do that, then Pumas should take off
Just signed this guy^ I somewhat remember him at Indios, its been a while tho. Hes been at All Boys since 2010
