That Porto goal was the most disgusting, party wrecking shit I have ever seen in my life.

    Dzeko superb.

    Zaniolo...

Really should've done better on that counter to make it 3-1... What the hell was Kluivert doing there? Gave Kolarov no option to play the ball across.

Aslo, Nzonzi should've trailed the run of Kolarov to create the pass back option at the top of the box for a shot.

For all the crap he gets here, including me lately, give Dzeko his due. He set up both goals very nicely and had a great overall game.

Last 2 games have been great. If he plays like this I won't say a word.

We seemed to switch to a 4-1-4-1 which didnt quite work for me as Nzonzi is simply out of place there. I wanted Nzonzi ahead of Cristante tonight expecting Porto to have more bite in attack. They didnt and so all was well and Cristante had a good game for me.

Nice of DDR to take out Brahimi ;)...who looks to me easily their trickiest player. Perhaps he'll miss round 2.

Unlucky goal ruined a great performance from u guys. The tie is still in the balance but at least you guys have a lead to take to Portugal.

A shame with the goal. It was a pretty good performance, unfortunately as I predicted we will never be good enough to hold good opposition out. Due to the goal - Porto will still be huge favorites - we all know how bad Roma play under pressure.

Dzeko and Zaniolo were great.... that some people believe Schick should play instead of Dzeko is beyond me.

yea, that's his problem. He only plays like that when he give a damn... which isn't often enough.

He's the best #9 I've seen at Roma since Rudi Voller

I’ll take Vucinic over Dzeko any day. But credit to Edin today

Also rename this team AS Zaniolo

Batisuta had 1 good year, the other 2 he was crap. As @Shen-O said, Vucinic is in the conversation but he'd play all along the front and sometimes and a second ST to Totti so I just didn't include him cuz of that.

edit. Gotta throw Montella in there too.

We got his last year before he was done and it was the difference. For that alone he cannot be ruled out and goes down a Roma Legend.
