This is for all the marbles in the group. Atleti need to win and Roma to drop points against Carryabag. We have to Win no matter what as a win or draw and a Roma win means we finish 2nd as they own the tie breakers. As all the English teams are winning their groups it means we have to win ours to hope for a lesser side. Of we finish 2nd we are fvcked as the teams we can draw are PSG, Barca, or Besktas.

    So we need to win.

Match is on the regional sports networks in the States.

    Just win.

Could face Bayern, Real, or Juventus finishing first too. CL this year is quite difficult

Very true, but I'd rather face those three than Barca or PSG. Personal preference, but Real, Bayern, and Juve are all beatable, especially on current form.

    -------Cahill----Luiz----Rudy------
    ---------------Courtois---------------

Luiz is out. Christensen is also the clear starter at this point.

Christensen is the clear starter but we also will need to rotate the squad. With us through win or lose this game may take less importance than the league. City play United and we must gain 3 points. I know Luiz has been out but thought it was day to day so to speak and that he'd be back for this. If he's still out than so be it. But Conte must manage this period carefully and squad rotation will be huge.

Ateltico have not yet lost in La Liga, yet they're in 3rd place due to 6 draws. They have been less than impressive in the CL but this is a very difficult match, even though it's at home. They've lost and drawn to Roma, lost to us, and drew Qarrysnag - TWICE. I dont think they'll advance, but this match has draw written all over it.

On current form, definitely. I could see us winning against Juventus this season regardless of form as well. Worried Real and Bayern will hit a good patch of form by the round of 16 though; Jupp is turning things around at Bayern and Madrid is Madrid. Honestly wouldn't mind Barcelona - think we have a setup that can handle their strengths relatively well. PSG are my must avoid at all costs team (meaning we will inevitably face them at some point in the competition) and City is the other team to beat imo

Interested in seeing who will lineup at LWB today

Zappa lost his man on the corner there they said. Didn't see him pick the guy up but maybe they're right.

Bats on for Morata. didn't even pay attention to him being on the bench. glad to see he's recovered from injury, we need some rotation up top.

He probably even had enough time to control it and shoot.
