I feel pretty bad for Karius. I’d suggest staying off social media for a little bit. Liverpool supporters disliked him for a while, then convinced themselves he was world class, and now they’ll be aiming to crucify him. Either way, I think most neutrals knew their goalkeeping needed to be upgraded. Just because you beat out Simon Mignolet doesn’t mean you’re the next Neuer. Liverpool had almost no margin for error coming into this game , and Karius combined with the injury to Salah made an extremely difficult fight an impossible one. Props to Klopp for building what he has, but there’s still work to be done.
They should put Aleaxander-Arnold between the sticks. Problem solved. He was pretty good in the semi-finals as a keeper.
Sad for Salah, but happy for Liverpool, the cunts deserved the result. Say all you want about Real Madrid, but they were able to overcome Klopp's geggen pressing. They lost the ball plenty of times, but they were still able to maintain 60+% possession throughout the match. Plenty of Liverpool fans want Karius out already when he played such an integral part throughout the campaign and had a breakout season this year. You'll Never Walk Alone my ass
