I hope he never leaves. Dortmund are what like a top 15 club in the world right? They could be top 10. It's best if he continues to develop and remains a part of the biggest club in Germany (after Bayern).
I'd advise him not to leave unless one of the La Liga giants comes for him in a few years, which isn't out of the question. He very well might be future Barca quality. Still, I think playing in the Bund extends careers as it's two sprints with a good size winter break right in the middle of it. EPL just grinds players down over the years.
I don't know that Real fans actually have any fun. They start each year thinking if hey don't win the league, the cup and the CL, the year's a failure. All tension, no enjoyment
I remember when my beloved Philadelphia 76ers traded for Moses Malone, who, at the time, was the most dominant big man in the NBA. It was great because they won the title but it was totally expected. If they lost a game at all it was a major shock. No enjoyment with a victory. It remains my least enjoyed championship of all of my favorite teams
Bosz's 4-3-3 Pretty decent #BVB #passmap.Midfield three could've been stronger linked, but tough opposition.Bigger issues were off the ball really. pic.twitter.com/sS5x8rcQ9L— 11tegen11 (@11tegen11) August 5, 2017
That is the weirdest 433 I've ever seen. Maybe an unbalanced 2-3-1-3-1? What's weirder than that is that you would use a passmap from a game on August 5th in discussion about a game that happened in July. What's even weirder than that is that you are still fixated on this weeks after it happened. I don't care what the formation was. In the game I posted, he received the ball more centrally or cut in more than he has historically done when playing for BVB.
This is an example of the standard formation Dortmund's new manager uses and used. Your historical analysis is as faulty as your real time observations. Pulisic made some appearances as a RWB, they were later in the season so I can see how a recency bias could color your perception. Pulisic played all over the field for Dortmund under Tuchel but the role in that friendly is going to be very similar, in terms of width, to the wide attacking roles he frequently appeared in under Tuchel with a fullback behind him (4-1-4-1, 4-3-3, and 4-2-3-1). The role he has been playing for Bosz is not noteworthy for its relative centrality.
Whatever... If I interpret you correctly, then you are saying he has spent the majority of his career at BVB where he found himself middle third of the field running at defenders, distributing the ball, and making runs frequently that US fans should be very comfortable in his ability to play in that space for the USMNT. I vaguely recall that is why I even made that innocuous comment that you have been trying to discredit for weeks.
Starting off the season right THE KID STRIKES AGAIN! Pulisic scores Dortmund's first Bundesliga goal of the season. @cpulisic_10 🇺🇸 #WOBBVB https://t.co/CrJF3PThvp— FOX Soccer (@FOXSoccer) August 19, 2017
You just know the English will envy having to identify him as an American. I wonder what the Croatian fans or federation are thinking now.
After careful scrutiny throughout the first half I repeat my previous detailed analysis: Pulisic is good.
Replay of that nice cross Who needs a Dembele when you got a Pulisic? 1 goal, 1 assist for the #USMNT star as Aubameyang gets his 1st. #WOBBVB https://t.co/oPRZDsp4cQ— FOX Soccer (@FOXSoccer) August 19, 2017

I thought he needed to work on striking across the ball or using the outside of his right and aiming far post. Keep it up kid.
Wonder if he's one of those guys for whom time slows down when the adrenaline starts flowing. Looked like he only had inches to get off the shot as well as the assist, but both lined up to the inch.
He seems like that type of player who is simply operating in a different time space dimension from the rest of us.
Something I find interesting--Gotze quietly played the best game I've seen since he returned to Dortmund. Nothing spectacular, but was key in connecting the dots in light of Weigl's absence.
He has had a metabolic illness for who knows how long. Now he has been diagnosed and is finally getting treatment.
