I tend to like foeign names. I knew a father and son from Augusta, GA named Hans. I like Jan if it is pronounced "Yahn", but I hate Jan (pronounced "Jan") as a guy's name. Hans or Lars are probably my faves. As far as girls, Holly, Molly, Brittney, Katie.
one of my fave names of all time: Yvon Cournoyer Jan Michael Vincent, not so much. now, Giovanni Michel di Vincenzo, that's a name.
if you have a two syllable last name, accent on the first syllable, and you want a two syllable middle name, accent of the first syllable, don't name your kid Desmond, unless you intend to go with Dez. it will turn out to be a ridiculous sing-song name. now the very bestest combos are three syllable first names and two syllable last names, with first syllable accents. Madison Hunter. Jennifer Williams. Parallel Parking.
Desmond was one we considered. Never got far enough with us to consider middle names. Damian and similar names have been out since The Omen was released.
I ve been thinking and I ve decided that ("Spaceball") Ric O'Shea Lozada is the best possible name for a male child. And dig the lyrics: I'm just a man I understand the wind And all the things That make the children cry With my Les Paul I know I'm small But I enjoy living Anyway Book after book I get hooked Everytime the writer Talks to me like a friend What can I do We just live in a zoo All I do is play The spaceball ricochet Deep in my heart Three¹s a house That can hold Almost all of you I brought a car It was old but kind I gave it my mind And it disappeared I love a girl She is a changeless angel She's a city it's a pity That I'm like me I said how can I lay When all I do is play The spaceball ricochet
Polly, Dolly and Lolly sounds like some act on the Lawrence Welk show. So.....no. Ivan I like in the American pronunciation, but not the other, like Ivan Lendl.
