Arriba cabros! Que felicidad. Lo mas chistoso es que para bein español el jugador del partido fue Sanchez, para bein fue Bravo. Quede muy contento por como jugamos, nos falto finiquito, pero por fin campeones!

 

Aranguiz fue el mejor... cuantas pelotas claves recupero el wn en el medio? No se cansa nunca el hdp... no se como mierda no esta en Europa.

 

JAjaja el mejor fue Medel.

Congratulations, Chilean fans. This is probably the best generation you've ever had, and you guys wanted it very much and it showed. Remember this: in 2 consecutive senior-level NT tournaments (the two most important to CONMEBOL teams - the World Cup and the Copa América), neither Brazil nor Argentina defeated you in regulation.

Enjoy this win. I expect your team to be very tough in 2018 World Cup qualifying, and I hope you guys do well in the 2017 Confederations Cup.

No soy una enciclopedia de futbol pero... es Chile el primer equipo nacional en ganar algo sin centrales?

Medel y Silva son mediocampistas. Jara, Rojas y Miiko jugaron la mayoría de su carrera como laterales no?

Es increíble... había razón para dudar dado los antecedentes.

 

I knew that this team could aspire to achieve big things after the game against Germany in Stuttgart last year. It was made clear after the games vs. Spain and Brazil at the world cup.

It was a deserved win and a memorable moment for all the players, Sampaoli and the coaching staff.

There are so many great stories that have come out of this triumph.

Aránguiz: MOTM; like the FIFA site says, he is a true ‘tigerish’ midfielder and, now, a champion. The game required a player like that, and he left his mark. He can play anywhere in Europe. Was his penalty in this final struck harder than the one against Brazil last year? Rocket!

Isla, Medel, Vidal and Sánchez: the class of 07. The only one missing was Carmona. It was back in 2007 when they said that they weren’t happy with third places anymore.

What a year for Bravo, Vidal and Sánchez. How many titles and finals between them this season? What a great moment for Sánchez. He was flat for most of the event, but left it all for the final. The guy was questioned for so long at Barcelona, and now he’s shown for Arsenal and Chile his true value.

Also: Great moment for veterans like Pizarro, Pinilla, Valdívia and Beausejour.

Fantastic moment for Fernández; what a penalty!

I was thinking the same earlier today. I don't know for sure, but I would say that it's at least one of the very few times that a team wins a major title without centre backs.
