My Game 1 food review for 2015: Costs more, worse quality, worse service. I'll write off the service to the first game kinks (even though a lot of the vendors looked the same as last year). But not the quality or price, obviously. On the bright side: tailgating futures up 300%! (Actually looking forward to this.) If you know of anything good at the stadium (as in: actual warm food from lines shorter than 15 minutes, and not budget-breaking), point me there. I mean, it's one thing to raise prices 20%, but not when you drop quality 50%. Fail.
Sorry... Still pretty green on BS but what is the [R] represent at the end of some forum titles? Thanks for accepting my ignorance.
means results of games are included within the thread so if people don't want to know scores they can avoid threads.
Seems like this thread is as good as any to pose this question: Anyone know if Bryants is still offering game parking in exchange for making a purchase of $45 or more?

So it looks like Sporting is looking to put someone new in charge of the field... Newest #Jobs Posted: Director of Turf and Field Operations - @SportingKC (Kansas City, KS) https://t.co/B6OL6qEUOU— TeamWork Online (@TeamWorkOnline) January 14, 2016 Also, thread title change? Children's Mercy Park?
#SportingKC president Jake Reid says the STH waiting list is 5,500. Team wants to reach 10K before talk of adding seats at CM Park.— Sam McDowell (@SamMcDowell11) March 5, 2016
The entrance lines split 50/50 for convenience of STMs, presumably. But those who have paper tickets go to the short line. STMs go to the other half (much longer line) according to the steward guy, "because it takes longer since they have to print the ticket stubs." Um, I've got another idea why the STM line is longer. There are 14K STMs, 6K others. Figure it out. I mean, what is the logic here? They want to save money on printer paper? If they insist on doing this, then at least make the magnetic wand wavers non-denominational (since they are the ones slowing everything down) and then split the line after everyone is cleared of contraband. Food quality seemed better, even though not everything on the menu was offered, and the prices on the menu screens didn't reflect what they actually charged (and the staff just shrugs helplessly when you point this out) and the wait times were large, even pre-game. At least there are other options to try, and it was the first night...hopeful that it improves. Big win for Coke products, though. And once again: the stupidest policy is taking caps off of bottles of soda and water. Because a 7 year old is a real threat to hurl a piss-filled Powerade bottle from the 25th row of the South Stand, but a real douchebag isn't going to be smart enough to smuggle in a couple of bottle caps.
Lines were slower due to wanding and them cutting down the effective number of lines by staggering tables across the line entrances. The lines were least half as slow as last year. Also, Pepsi > Coke. Unless you're mixing it with bourbon, then Coke is better because of the carbonation. But by itself, Pepsi > Coke.
I suspect you can thank the Kansas Legislature for the wanding. No-Permit Concealed Carry goes into effect on July 1, so if you want a place to truly be a gun-free zone, you're going to have to work at it.
Supposedly that 6000 person waiting list has all but evaporated. I was called and given the opportunity to buy more seats. A couple of other friends were called as well.
based on comments I've seen of people who joined the waiting list just this year, it doesn't surprise me.
What are you guys doing about playoff tickets? Rep called me today and reiterated what came in the email. I just said I was in a wait and see mode since going online to the site probably wasn't worth my time. Just guessing but it sounds to me like they are not getting much of a response, but I do appreciate how they are doing it this season.
FWIW I'd emailed my rep about Special Game A and what it would be used for, if it would possibly be used as a playoff game, she said that wasn't the plan as of right now, and instead it'd be credited to our accounts.
Sporting Blue For Life: Do I have to sign it? I know what it is, but I don't automatically renew anything that costly, not with a career change on the horizon.
People I know that weren't signing it were saying they were being. Told they couldn't keep their tickets if they didn't sign.
