Well, we're coming off a disappointing loss in the UCL. The scoreline doesn't reflect the game in my opinion but that's alright. Back to Serie A where we've been getting the right results. Our squad as shown in the Man City game is too thin. I hope that Ghoulam getting injured has shown ADL this so that he spends the money on good backups.

We were ready coming into the season but it's so unfortunate that Milik and Ghoulam get the same shitty injury. 5 months out for the both of them. Milik is expected to be back by late january, early february, and Ghoullam is slated for a return in early April.

As long as we keep picking up points against the small teams we'll be set.

    Reina
    Hysaj-Albiol-Koulibaly-Rui
    Rog-Diawara-Hamsik
    Ounas-Mertens-Insigne

I'd go with this starting 11 but I feel Maggio will be put in at right back and shift Hysaj to left back. I also think we may be looking at a Zielinski-Diawara-Hamsik midfield.

    Must win game. No debate.

Agree with your line up. The team cannot bare Hamsil / Ziellinski with Maggio and Hysaj on the wings.

I cringe whenever Maggio is in :cautious:. He can never finish a play and is constantly developing attacking options for the opponents!

Well, the only thing Maggio can do well is ask for a foul close to our penalty box while trying to move forward, other than that I can't think of anything. I have seen Rui play and I simply don't understand why he has not yet been provided with a chance, but perhaps he will finally get it now.

I also agree with your line up, although I think Mertens needs a rest, and according to the newest reports, he has some slight muscle problems, so it could finally happen tomorrow that we will try a different attacker. If it happens, I wonder who it will be.

I feel like we are too predictable at times.

99.99% of our attack comes from the left side.

This is Jorgi's worst half of the season. Just in time for the Italy call-up.

I actually think hes doing alright given how much he is being pressured/targeted, but yeah he isnt dominant at all. I wish we had the option to play the ball down the right too.

    Inter dropped points

Roma is currently tied and Juve is losing

Perfect chance here to gain some separation.

    Jorginho’s worst game this season.

Mertens and Callejon have been useless the last few games. Clearly no energy left.

Was Zielinski even on the pitch.

We have declined game after game and the lack of squad depth in attack fully shows now. Not sure where a goal will come from.

Well, Juve could have scored at least 5 goals, so I doubt Bene will manage to hold on to the result, even a draw is still an optimistic wish.

Yeah I think so. He is playing with brain holding back and keeping it simple - doesnt help him as the type he is playing with callejon and hysaj.

The right side is being defended by 37yr old Gobbi & a 36yr old Gamberini and nothing.

Well we have no attackers. Ounas should have started though.

This team cannot win the scudetto. There is no depth in attack.

And what player Inglese is. Finally had a chance to see him a full game. Excited for January.
