Not all Trump voters are racists or misogynists or assholes, but they were "okay" with a racist, misogynistic asshole in the White House.
I think only a small percentage of people who voted for Trump were "'okay' with a racist, misogynistic asshole in the White House." The vast majority honestly thought it was a show for the cameras, or that the republican party could reign him in, or bought into the Fox News agenda that Hillary Clinton was a felon and evil personified, who would actively let "terrorists" kill our ambassadors and then try to hide that fact. If you're stupid enough to believe these things, then you had the tough decision between a beltway insider/murderer/criminal or a stupid, pandering, racist, outsider, misogynist asshole. If I were that dumb, I'd probably vote for Trump too. Edit: I talk with at least one professed Trump voter per day and probably a few that wouldn't admit it. I work in a moderate, republican-leaning district. The backlash against Trump is going to be huge in November. Hopefully that will flow down ballot to Randy Hultgren as well.
Note: None of this is a criticism of you at all. No, every single one of them was okay with it. He was quite clear about his intention.
