Our last win at Stamford Bridge was in February 1990 with Gary Lineker scoring a late winner. 28 years without a win seems like a long time, but we once went 73 years (1912-1985) between wins at Anfield... Since our last win there, 38 clubs have gone to Chelsea and won, including powehouses like Oxford United, Oldham Athletic, Blackpool, Charlton (twice!), QPR and Bradford. Even West Ham have won there 4 times for f***s sake! So no Harry Kane? No problem! We'll walk it 3-0. COYS!
We can win this. Morata is a good player but out of sorts, so the defence can go after Hazard and Willian. Midfield, we're better than them - Kante is a machine, but doesn't get much help so Dier and Dembele can cope. Alli is due a big performance and he's got history with goals against Chelsea. El Mitt's top tip - Lamela MOTM, off to a standing ovation with Lucas Moura against tired legs late on to play a part in making the game safe.
Our tendency in big games away is to concede a sloppy goal early (see Arsenal, Man City, Liverpool, Juventus away). If we can avoid shooting ourselves in the foot, we certainly have the team to get a result there.
Starting XI: Lloris (c), Trippier, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Davies, Dier, Dembele, Lamela, Eriksen, Dele, Son. Substitutes: Vorm, Aurier, Rose, Wanyama, Sissoko, Lucas, Kane.
so looks like Dier isn't doing a very good job protecting the CBs. lamela and son keep running into each other, they are occupying the same space changes need to be made
