That Hazard run reminded me of Robben at his best. Amazing goal. Great game, although a few more chances allowed than I'd prefer. I really wish Moses was better defensively.
disappointed that it was 3-1 and it really should have been 4-0 and Pedro was great and better than Sanchez. Sanchez was totally missing for them. And Hazards goal was what he should be doing every week.
Pedro was better than Sanchez. I have to keep thinking about that and it really makes no sense at all and yet it was true. An I had some sympathy for Wenger and then in the post-match he just whined and complained and that is why they will never win the league.
That was a pretty locked in performance with few flaws. Everyone on the same page. Everyone everywhere. Remarkable run by Hazard.
Fabulous performance today, I am still buzzing now. At the start of this season I remember reading something posted by a Juventus fan (somewhere on here I think) saying that Conte would turn Chelsea into a ruthless winning machine! I love seeing the guy jumping in and celebrating with the crowd! Very happy today.
I hate talking about Arsenal, but you could set your watch to their demise each and every year. Every winter.
Hilariously, a Chelsea fan on Twitter that I follow tweeted on November 1st that come February 4th Arsenal will be in 4th because that's just the order of the universe. Well if Citeh win tomorrow they'll be a day off. Also heard another god one. From Invincibles to Invertebrates. Twitter was gold today. Still is. Also I heard, not confirmed yet but Wenger just got a two year extension.
I think Wenger was offered the extension but has not yet signed it. Hope he does. Can we pay him to stay there?
Hopefully, we beat the crap out of both teams, but considering our results against these teams earlier in the year, two draws would be fine by me. Park the bus.
both are good points. i'm never one to discount the importance of every game in this league, but it has to be pointed out that so far, chelsea have been the most professional when it comes to approaching every game. and traditionally, the big top 6 games are bigger point swing games as well, and we only have two of those left now. i'm just mentioning we have an advantage there.
This thread is brought to you by 2016's Week 24 results and table standings. Week 24 result: 0-0 draw with Watford, who was managed by Quique Sanchez Flores at the time.
