No rest for the champions as we host Watford at the Bridge on Monday evening. 8pm kick off local time, 3pm EST and 12pm PST. A couple of big targets still to shoot for: 1. If we win both of our remaining matches we will set a new Premier League record of 30 wins in the season (breaking our own record of 29 under Jose) 2. Winning both matches will also put us on 93 points, the second most in the Premier League era (just behind the record we also set under Jose that same season of 95 points and ahead of Utd's highest ever tally of 92 points). Should see some differences in the starting XI from younger players all the way through to JT perhaps. Hopefully we push to the end and build some momentum going into the Cup final which Arsenal will be even more up for if they do end up out of 4th as seems likely now. COYB
Honestly, the record for most wins is nice, but not at the cost of an injury. Watford has nothing to play for, so could be a really dull game.
Annoying that we don't have this on weekend. I'd like to see Michy start at the least. Maybe Chalobah too.
Play the kids. No point risking injury. If they are up for it, we should still win as Watford should already be at the beach.
My wish has been granted! Team to face Watford: Begovic, Zouma, Terry (c), Ake, Azpilicueta, Kante, Chalobah, Kenedy, Willian, Batshuayi, Hazard. #CHEWAT— Chelsea FC (@ChelseaFC) May 15, 2017 Tonight’s subs: Eduardo, Aina, Alonso, Cahill, Fabregas, Pedro, Diego Costa. #CHEWAT— Chelsea FC (@ChelseaFC) May 15, 2017
I'd be inclined to agree, but the kids pretty in form and has played a 60 game season before. Let him tear shit up.
Let's hope it doesn't become a disjointed mess that affects our momentum going into the FA Cup Final. COYB!
oh....well....hmmm JT with an ill-advised back pass header that turns into an assist. think Chalobah got in his way though.
Think it's Gaz's first and foremost (especially after this season) but would love Dave to get it then.
