Have to respect the likes of Richarlison and Sigurdsson but this should be 3 points. Expect to see Barkley start with Kova on the bench. Morata to build on his recent uptick in form and Hazard to assert himself once again.

Looking forward to this one ahead of the Manchester derby later in the day.

    COYB!

Flat and ugly first 15 mins. Hope we wake up quickly and not taking everton too lightly.

Gotta love commentary, 'He HAD to foul him there and it was perfectly fair'

Commentary talking about the foul on Hazard is clueless. Challenge was dangerous.

Who do you have? Andy Townsend has been on an anti chelsea diatribe all match. Said there was no contact and a yellow was harsh.

Of course the foul by the chelsea player is a nasty one (it wasn't good but ffs).

Townsend is acting like Jorginho was targeting Sigurddson

To be fair, that tackle by Jorgino was pretty dirty while the Mina one was mostly clean (front foot did catch Hazards ankle on the follow through, but it didn't deserve a yellow).

Neither were good. Mina knew exactly what he was doing with the follow through (from the Sergio Ramos defender's manual).

'Why did Rudiger hit the floor there?', Answer: NOT because he got head-butted but because he was trying to get his opponent sent off' FFS!!!!

Possibly. He definitely left a little in but it wasn't that bad imo.

And less said about that ridiculousness by Rudiger the better. Odd that he was carded though.

Just saw the replay on the Jorgino foul, that's a red all day long. That was nasty.

Credit to everton. Good coaching effort from them and been working the ball well when in possession and limiting us to nearly nothing.

Feisty match and would be surprised to see it ending with all 22 on the pitch. Throwing Barkley into this would be, interesting given his history. But maybe a spark we could use.

SIghurdson was pushing him away aggressively all through that move though. Jorginho could have gone down when he pushed him in the face/neck but made the mistake of NOT falling on the floor and flopping around like he'd been poleaxed,

Then Rudiger was head-butted and was carded, presumably for being fouled without a license.

Seriously? It was Siggys fault that he was physical with Joriginho and then Joriginho decided to two footed lunge into him? GTFO with that nonsense.

Bernard leaned into Rudiger more than giving him a headbutt. Rudiger shouldn't have gotten a card, but he should be embarrassed for going down like that after little Bernard bumped him.

    Giroud Giroud Giroud....

Trying hard not to become to Morata what Wrath is to Willian...

    Not Koviacs best day either,

Good. We agree then. It was his fault.
    [
It was about the same as the one on Hazard. The difference was that Hazard was going the opposite direction to the man tackling whereas Jorginho was going the same direction.
Yes. Let's just have ManU supporter nonsense instead... on the CFC boards.
It was hard to tell from the angles we've seen so how the hell you can know that is anybody's guess but what we DO know is that Rudiger isn't the sort of fella to flop about on the ground if he hasn't been touched whereas Bernard is a cheating little cvnt, so...

Now the defender totally ignored the ball and held Morata back. No pen

You can see why Mrata struggles to score goals. Not only can' he convert chances, he doesn't make the runs across the keeper to create them when the winger makes a cross.
