I've actually seen a similar flyer that was in a family member's mailbox not far from the VA/NC line. I don't have any Clayton Bigsby's in my family though.

So it ended up being 30 Nazis with thousands of protesters. Anyone else get the sense that this is exactly what those 30 Nazis wanted? They want to be the center of attention and get beat up by the big liberal mob that outnumbers them 100 to 1. It's a great recruitment strategy. I wonder if ignoring them wouldn't be more effective.

 

Whenever I see one of these "rallies" it reminds me of this.

Let them recruit. Let their numbers grow. Let everybody understand that the GOP is the friends-to-Nazis party. And if that's where the country wants to go, then that's where it will go.

30 people manage to shut a whole city down and get headlines on all the news sites by just showing up and making a few speeches for a couple of hours. It's a ton of free advertising. Bonus points if they attract any violence from protesters.

They wouldn't be doing these campus provocations if it didn't work for their recruitment strategy.

 

Given the relative numbers, I'd say they're (thankfully) losing - and I think the extra "acting out" is indicative of the dying spasms they're going through. The one thing that can reverse that is martyrdom.

This is why "punch a Nazi" is actively damaging to this trend.
