Yeah, I see us all clapping and jumping to it after a goal. Here's another one that goes to, "Que Sera, Sera": OH BIG BLACK AND GOLD WHEREVER YOU'LL BE, WE'LL BE FOR OUR CHARLESTON BATTERY OH BIG BLACK AND GOLD! OH BIG BLACK AND GOLD WHEREVER YOU'LL BE, WE'LL BE SO UP . . . THE BATTERY OH BIG BLACK AND GOLD!

I kinda got goose bumps after watching that. I'll see what I can do about making lyrics for the Battery.
"Up The Battery" Up The Battery (from the Dexy's Midnight Runners song "Come On Ilene") -used when we're behind (slowly, but picking up w/clapping/beating) Come on . . . Bat-te-ry, We need a goal. Come on . . . Bat-te-ry, We need a goal. Come on . . . Bat-te-ry we a . . . A GOAL TODAAAAY! (repeat 2 more time, but quicker, then {w/ NO clapping @ 1st}. . .) COME ON BATTERY OH I SWEAR, BAT-TER-Y AT THIS MOMENT YOU MEAN EEEEEVERY THIIIING! (start the clapping/beating again) WE ALL HAVE THE BACK OF THE GOLD AND THE BLACK SO COME ON LETS . . . UP THE BATTERYYYYYY! (Repeat 2x then back to a the slow beginning)
Hey all I am in Detroit but I lived and worked in Charlston and have adopted the battery as my USL team so here is a chant that I just came up with. We are the battery from old Charles Town weve rode the roads of glory to come and tear you down where you go hence forth oh the stories you will tell of the boys from the battery, of old Charles Town
tunes are not my department....i just sang it line by line like a poem...so whatever rythem suits it I guess.
I like it. It can become a slow swaying anthem for us. "We-aaare the-batteryyyy from-ole-Chaaa-rles-Town We've-roooode the-roads-of-gloooryyy to-coooome and-tear-you-down wheeeere you-go-hence-forth oh-the-stooories you-will-tell of-the-boooys from-the-battery of-Ole-Cha-rles-Town." I've got the tune stuck in my head if only I could record it on here.
Glory glory to Ole Chaaarles Town, Glory glory to Ole Chaaarles Town, Glory glory to Ole Chaaarles Town, B - A - T - T - E - R - Y !
