Wow, hats down to liverpool, some of the most fun ive had watching football, i'd compare it with that barca-Valencia from 2001 at the end of the season. Great game.

What happened on the PK right after Arsenal brought it to 2-2?

Ironically so did the EPL fanboys it appears.

Gotta feel for Arsenal. Exciting match but sadly it comes down to officiating and Liverpool got the benefit of those key debatable decisions (for the 4th CL match in-a-row). If the hook on Hleb in the first-leg is not a penalty, than that was nowhere near a penalty on Babel. Most of whatever contact there was actually came outside the box.

Although Arsenal have the attention span of a two year-old. They just can't stay focussed!

Arsenal totally bottled it. They went in front 3 times and they lost the lead 3 times.

This incarnation of Arsenal epitomise what it takes to be a flat track bully.

Congratulations to Chelsea. Also congratulations to my team for being able to challenge Chelsea. We somehow manage to control the game as much as we could. We just needed a goal to pass this round but could not manage it.

Nevertheless, we have done a good job this year, next year we have to do better. I hope we can keep our squad and transfer a more suitable forward to our playing style. Kezman is a good player but does not fit the role. We need a player who plays like Drogba or V. Love.

Good luck for both teams for next matches.

    That I must disagree.

Congrats to Chelsea. Like Aziz said we tried but couldn't find the back of the net. I expected a more confident Chelsea but I guess that's how quarter finals are. All we needed was a goal but the luck wasn't really on our side and we lost. Still, I'm more proud than ever to be a Fenerbahce fan. You guys will see us in this stage next year, so we shouldn't be missed much. ;)

It seems as though the Champions' League has become far too predictable. We'll just have to wait and see what happens tomorrow.

If any surprises were to happen they would have today. No way will the first leg results be overturned by Shalke and Roma tomorow.

if arsenal had a better back up centre half than senderos then it's entirely possible that the penalty that most of the debate is over would have been a moot point.

One of the main problems was actually the injury to Sagna. He and Clichy are critical.

Last week Eboue dropped into right back and sure enough gerrard rips through that area.

Thanks to Chelsea for a good game. Good luck against Liverpool but please put in Anelka next to Drogba: if your lineup was Cech, Ferreria, Terry, Carvalho, A. Cole, Essien, Lampard Ballack, Anelka, Drogba, Kalou with a 4-3-3. You guys would win the Champions League. Also, Roman should get Daniel Alves for next season to perfect the team. We played good but when Alex is shut down, this is what happens, we don't get many chances. Everytime he touches the ball, Essien or Makalele push him around. Referee could have been making better calls against Makalele's tackles but he was ok overall. We will be back next year with a better team. Did anyone hear the rumor that Fenerbahce reached an agreement with Samuel Eto'o? For all the Fenerbahce fans: we should get Mehmet Topuz, someone better than Maldonado to replace Appiah; preferably someone big, and please get Halil Altintop, Baskan Aziz Yildirim. The dream just began for us. At least we put ourselves on the map.
