Difficult to judge the performance against this opposition, still you can only beat whats put in front of you. Hats of to Willian, the guy gives 110% from minute 1 until minute 90, thought Christensen looked like the 'real deal'. All in all a nice way to spend a Tuesday evening!
Exactly the result we needed today. No stress thanks to the early goal and hopefully a confidence building match in the end for Batsy (with a nice goal - not sure if the second was an OG or not in the end). I was really worried for him if multiple defenders were getting on the scoresheet and the lone striker not. Really need him hungry to be able to spot Morata some matches. Bring on the Gunners.
Willian and Christensen were fantastic. Zappacosta was very good as well. I hope Rudiger takes Cahill's spot permanently in the starting XI.
I thought Rudiger looked a little flakey on that showing, tbh. Still, it's hard coming into a game rather than starting.
