There's some about Leicester that makes them fun to watch vs the big teams, maybe it's because they are underdogs and i want to see how far they can go. It's a nice story overall, the tie should be fun too.
Yeah, but Leicester sacked Ranieri which lost them some goodwill in my book. Also, we need Atletico to go through to pound Barca in the semis and lose to us in the final.
If anything that makes them great people. The only reason Ranieri joined them is to collect that compensation half a season in. The guy was probablymore shocked at their success than anybody else.
One of my secret worries was facing Monaco, and going there thinking that we would just throw the shirts on the pitch and that would do the trick. Bayern are always tough to play, and there is no chance of going into the tie with an arrogant attitude. Fact is i spoke to plenty of Bayern fans worth talking to today, and none of them wanted to play Madrid. It's a draw neither Bayern fans nor Madrid fans wanted.
Busquests suspended for Turin game. Juve should press Iniesta like hell and let Mascherano play out the passes.
Anyone know how Bayern is defending set pieces? At this point that's probably one of the biggest predictors of how a given team is likely to do against us.
Suarez, Iniesta, and I think Rakitic are also one card away from suspension. If Juve were smart, they'd find a way to get 2 out of 3 carded.
Horrible draw. Our issue isn't what bayern are doing our what they are capable of. Our problem is we have literally turned to shit since the second leg of that CdR match against Sevilla. My hope is that this international break had come at the right time and we find ourselves. Especially our main man Cristiano. If we don't we are in big trouble. Breaks seems to have a 'Hyde and Jekyll' effect on us so let's just hope we come back playing well, scoring more and defending better from midfield to defense. These are some amazing matches for the regular fan though. I think atleti and juve will pull it out. Juve are built to beat barca with their sturdy defense and capable attack. The Monaco and Dortmund match is a toss up. Monaco is really that good offensively, but Dortmund have that speed and their attack is amazing as well.
Fair enough but not even close for me, Toni is better at what he does, at no point would I trade Tiago for Toni if the chance ever presented itself
How they setup or the stats? Stats wise I believe they haven't given up a set piece goal all season.. Which is surprising... Setup wise I think its man marking, I don't believe it's zone anymore. I also don't believe I see them defend the goal post on corners either. It's hummels, Martinez, (boateng), Lewa as the tallest guys. Not much change there. PS: no set piece or extra time is safe with Ramos in the game. I think that player alone would give us nightmares for a week......
My last visit to Allianz ended with Dinamo losing 5:0. Ticket is in the pocket, hope it ends better this time!

I watched them the other month and the ********ers had at least 9 men in their box defending the corners! The dirty scum, the nerve of it all.
Bayern's a great side which hey we are too, so that's fine. I don't mind playing a tough opponent. What really scares me though is Ancelotti. He not only managed this team to a CL trophy 3 short years ago, he also taught Zidane pretty much everything he knows about coaching. If anyone was going to find a way to shut RM down tactically, he'd be the one.
And all you wimps wanted Leicester lol...i remember in 2014 when everyone shit their pants when we drew Bayern, and we all know how that finished. Carlo's Bayern is no better than Pep's IMO. Bout time we had a good tussle with a big boy of Europe..
Zidane's team mostly wins matches with players' passion and mentality. We do not usually outplay the opponent tactically.
just hope our big boys (ramos and ronaldo) are on their day, if they are, we can even get a good result at first match
