Well, I suppose it would guarantee us going through but, tbh, if we've having to look for that kind of route we're not going to get anywhere anyway.

Yea, I don't have a lot of faith in this team at the moment, so guaranteeing a CL spot in the knock-out rounds was more important than a chance to finish the group at the top. DK will most likely win against Maccabi, and knowing Jose, he will push for a draw against a team who will come to attack. Losing 1-0 is a very good possibility.

How a team that is so much on top against 11 men suddenly look so shaky for 15 minutes against 10 men is baffling to me, what a strange game, in periods I thought we looked superb, in periods I thought we looked OK and in one period I thought we looked awful! Still good result and as long as the 'looking good' periods keep getting longer and the 'looking awful' periods keep getting shorter then I'm happy.

we do need to give the maccabi keeper some credit. he had a few really great saves that stopped the scorline from being worse.

can't take too much away from the game since a lot was against 10 men bu the sustained pressure was certainly there.
momentum is momentum i guess.
