Until we know who exactly will be in group B, I'll move on to Group C - which will be of particular interest in my new adoptive country.

Will you be following this group closely, who do you think has the best chance of getting out of it, and what matchups are of most interest for you?

Im expecting Atlante to win the group. The second spot is open and I think Montreal can steal it.

    Re: CCL Group C

I see Olimpia and Atlanta advancing. Historically, Olimpia has done well against Mexican teams. Montreal might give a scare or two but with the way they played against Esteli, I just don't see them in the top two come the final day.

Olimpia also has the best home crowd in this group. That might give them a slight advantage.

    Another interesting group.

I'm going for an upset. Olimpia and Montreal advance in that order. ;)

I think Cruz Azul is too good of a team to be left out... But I do believe that the fight for second between these two is going to be a tough one that goes on to the very last game.

    You mean Atlante?

I really believe they will be the only Mexican team to not advance from this round.

I'm really looking forward to next week's game - shame that it's being broadcast on CBC Bold, a station you have to pay extra for...

...oh well, at least it'll be free on cbcsports.ca!

A horrible first half by Olimpia really cost them this game. I have no idea what the hell JDDC was doing playing with only one forward (and a really old one too).

Seriously, Bruschi should have been there from the start of the game.

Well, hardest match out of the way. I guess they gotta focus for JP now.

I thought olimpia shoulda played with 2 strikers, Wilmer isnt that quick anymore. Flattering score though because the 1st half coulda been worst. Hopefully they can still make it, Joe public are beatable and Montreal will be tough. Above being a Motagua Fan soy catracho, so i am rooting for this team i hate soo much. I dont think i will ever post this again but just once vamos olimpia.

Preview on the CBC Sports site, and another over in the Radio-Canada site, for the Impact-Atlante game.

(They'll be carrying the English feed online, and radio-canada.ca will carry the French feed.)

I am actually looking forward to see this match. I have never seen Montreal play so it will be interesting how they play tonight against Atlante.

Jack Warner is obviously paying the referee in the JP/Olimpia match.

Brutal challenge on Dani Turcios by a JP player and he only shows a yellow.

EDIT: 0-0 at HT between the Impact and Atlante.

Montréal are looking good out there!

If that tackle hadn't even been called a foul at all maybe you'd have something. The guy got booked! You're just looking for excuses...

Seriously, there are lots of things to attack Warner for, but seriously, the ref booked a JP player and you're crying wolf. Seriously...
