It's great for Juve marketing, and I don't doubt he'll do well but he's on the wrong side of 30 and while fit and healthy, has indeed lost a step. A 4 year contract from Juve was strictly for the marketing revenue IMO.
They need someone to pick up Higuain's slack Juve is going to make a $htload of money on merchandise though.
They are not idiots. They will sell Rugani and Higuain for over 100. So the rest is salaries. Fiat will help and so will shirt sales. We really need our own stadium to take the next step.
who the hell is paying over 100 million for rugani and higuain? Higuain especially seems finished within a year or two
Atalanta up 3-1 late over Inter. By far the better team today. They've been red hot lately. *****Brozovic sent off and now 4-1********* Thumping
And more... He had obviously wanted to be the hero of the match, then missed a penalty, then lost his composure. Once upon a time at San Siro, good night.
All his fault. If he had not left us for Juve and become the eternal traitor, he would still be our main star, banging in goals, well loved and adored by fans and playing in the Champions League. Instead of now being abandoned by Juve who ditched him for the bigger star. Taste of his own medicine.
That's not all though, for as much as I hate to admit it, he surely has been a great striker, so with him in our team we perhaps really would have beaten Juve to it in the long run. But his impatience gets the better of him time and time again, for not even his success at Juve would have tasted so good to me if it had been purchased at the price of betrayal. But let each man be his master, even if it means that they will leave and join the opposition, which is sth that Cavani would never have done. He also left us, but Higuain was 10 times worse...
Not going to happen. He has burned all his bridges with fans and ADL after what he did. Also, he is already on the decline and will be useless in 1-2 years. We should get a younger striker.
Juve and Roma will be through in the UCL, Inter goes to EL with us. Lazio and Milan look to be heading through to the knockouts of the EL too
