I actually disagree with that. Vela had one amazing season with RS and then a few good ones. Has never played at highest level in CL though. Sad part is he'll still be good enough to get called up and even if he's not good he'll get called up cause Osorio doesn't care.
I'm a fan of both and a fanboy of neither, but it is my opinion that your statement is incorrect. No doubt that Vela is more talented though!
That's not a fair argument since Vela has never been on a team as loaded as that Ferguson's Manchester United.
Affirmative, which is why I haven't asked for a thread title change. Unless you guys want to do Vela @ LAFC (loaned to Real Sociedad till January 2018).
Looks like we haven't learned the sins of the past. We continue to compare Mexican players and bash on their accomplishments or lack of accolades to prop another Mexican player. Stop this brown on brown violence mang. You're better than this.
yeah, because his bitchass didn't want to leave RS. He was comfortable there. I remember Arsenal tried to buy him back and he said no.
I care because at his peak he was nominated above Messi in best la liga striker. He was the only one that had a chance of reaching Hugo's steps
But he didn't , the what ifs don't matter to history. He was comfortable at real and now he is comfortable at LA he doesn't care about Hugo
I remember when he played for arsenal when he was a youth , you can probably find videos online of his rediculously beautiful chips . Arsenal would've been a shit choice for him he was treated in arsenal the way gio was treated in Tottenham .
Whoever nominated him above Messi must have been on f*cking drugs... no matter when they did this. Vela has immense talent but he has never been, nor will ever be on Messi's level. In any season, on any planet.
Why would La Liga snub their golden boy for Vela? Did you not watch the 2013-2014 La Liga season? Vela's nomination doesn't mean he's a better player than Messi, it just means he was a more influential player that season compared to Messi. How you've managed to spin that into a negative is beyond me.
Good. Now he can go exert his influence over the LA team he's playing for and the MLS... and his daddy Bob Bradley.
