It was sort of a sarcastic/rhetorical question. The original purpose of it was to link into a wiki-style team page. At the top of each team forum was a link to that page, information on the next match and I believe even a link to buy that team's gear at the store. When the team pages went away (which may have been the same time as the transition to this software, I forget), it made the drop-down list entirely obsolete. I believe at one point, @dark knight mentioned the possibility of doing away with the lists. @Knave should remember.
I remember those team pages, but I don't remember them being linked to this list. I thought this list was only about the favorite team item below everyone's avatars. That said, I think this is the first time I've ever actually opened this thread. I do remember lots of useless trivia about BigSoccer. Of course, truth is I remember lots of useless trivia in general. ... By the way, now that I've looked into it, I demand that ... ... Sacramento Republic FC ... ... be added to the favorite teams pull-down list! Who must I bribe (or threaten) to make this happen?
