Robert Enke Tribute Part 55 Robert Enke's attending physician Dr. Valentin Markser gives information at Teresa Enke's press conference to the media about the severity of his patient's illness. According to his doctor Robert Enke decided a day before his suicide that he didn't need treatment(for his depression). Enke's widow Teresa is trying to make some sense of it all but is clearly struggling to do so. In his farewell letter Robert Enke apologized to his loved ones for misleading them and keeping secret his suicide plans. This is part 55 of my Robert Enke tribute.
Robert Enke Tribute Part 56 Out of fear of losing his adopted daughter Robert Enke avoided going public with his depression. Teresa Enke told husband Robert over and over that together they could master all crises. Teresa Enke said at the press conference that husband Robert first sought psychological guidance in 2003. This is part 56 of my Robert Enke tribute.
Robert Enke Tribute Part 57 Teresa Enke said at the press conference that she had tried to be there for him(her husband Robert Enke). For Teresa Enke this - her husband's suicide - is the second bitter blow of fate following the death of the couple's first daughter about three years ago. Robert Enke Tribute Part 58 Also present at the Teresa Enke press conference was Hannover 96 trainer Andreas Bergmann. Hannover 96 president Martin Kind and general manager Joerg Schmadtke were, of course, also among the guest at the press conference. We go back with this pic to Robert Enke's Fussball career. Robert Enke Tribute Part 59 Christoph Daum, who was Robert Enke's coach with Fenerbahce Istanbul, stands here in the middle of the ancient Aspendos theater during FC Koeln's training camp in 2008. Daum has stated that Enke trusted him and that Daum was informed about what was going on with his player. Again, Daum is in training camp here(despite appearances)in Turkey in the winter of 2008. Robert Enke Tribute Part 60 After Christoph Daum coached at FC Koeln he later did the same in the Bundesliga for VfB Stuttgart from 1990 to 1993 and Bayer Leverkusen from 1996 to 2000. He was also the coach at Fenerbahce Istanbul when Robert Enke was there. Here is Daum with wife Angelica. Now we see Daum and his wife with their son Jean Paul. Robert Enke Tribute Part 61 Robert Enke's former trainer Christoph Daum here walks on broken pieces of something(maybe glass?)as part of a motivational exercise. Daum has a Koelsch to celebrate FC Koeln's promotion to the Bundesliga in 2008(on May 11th, the day of the celebration). The FC Koeln promotion celebration continues into this shot. Robert Enke Tribute Part 62 Christoph Daum has made it into the team whirlpool fully dressed as the celebration from the last post appears to be getting out of hand. Daum is being carried into the showers by players Alex Mitreski(left)and Patrick Helmes(right)as the celebration gets even rowdier.
