Well, after all their problems over losing main sponsors (Bwin) and losing other sponsors (Festina), 1860 has finally resolved their advertising woes for the 2007/2008 season. Regardless of whether they will play in the 2.BL, 1.BL or RL Sued, the club has unveiled their new kit for 2007/08 (see below). I understand the shorts will have "KitKat" stamped on the butt just like Mexican soccer kits.:D

I like the new Hertha kit, at the very least, they could have gotten rid of that ridiculous eagle, I hated it, thats why I got the away jersey this year.

Reminds me a bit of the United States dark kit, pretty sharp :)

Nuremberg kit I don't really have much of an opinion....I don't know whether I should hate it, meh it or love it :D

Man I tell you, I would rather have NO sponsor than wear a trikot with Mister + LAdy on it!!!:D You can get the shit kicked out of you in the US with a kit like that.

FC Bayer would look gay if it said "Gold's Gym" "Viagra", whatever.

I'm not familiar with this "FC Bayer." Must be related to TSV 1860 Münchner.

I'll bet 1860 wishes Loewenbrau were their sponsors again too!

Too bad the sponsors have to WANT to sponsor the clubs instead of the fans and clubs just picking their sponsors, eh? ;)

There's 6 major breweries in Munich. You'd think 1860 could get one as a hauptsponsor. Hacker-Pshorr is a good choice since they're already a main sponsor of 1860 and wouldn't have to pay that much more.

That would certainly be a lot better than "B-win/we win!","Liqui-Moly" and "FTI", though "Festina" wasn't too bad. At least that looked good on the 1860 jersey.

Footy, I really can't wait to see next year's "R A G" Dortmund jerseys! :p Also, I'm still awaiting the day FC Bayern adopts T-Mobile's main color, magenta! Much razzing and tomfoolery all around.

What makes you think 1860 can get one as a "Hauptsponsor"? What makes you believe that? Because you dig 1860 so much, these guys have to want to spend money on them?

I don't believe the breweries don't have interest, I believe the others you mentioned were just willing to pay more because they NEEDED the exposure.

Just like BMW, the major breweries in Munich don't need to advertise their product on the shirts of a second division club. They just don't need to do it.

Now when/if 1860 can get themselves back into the top flight, maybe then one the breweries will think about it.

What 1860 really needs to do is ask Garry's permission to use his photos to try to sell the thing. THAT might work..... ;)

Yeah. Looks like you'll have to watch 1. Liga football to see that......

Plus, like the club they sponsor, RAG just can't seem to get their shit together. We'll probably have that f#cking stupid looking exclamation point again......

Not if they're lifting the trophy once again......
