1BL wants to become Eredivisie 2.0. a feeder league, yet another club taking in an EPL reject on loan. Herzlich Willkommen @DodiLukebakio!Linksfuß kommt vom @WatfordFC zur Fortuna. #f95 pic.twitter.com/ZHZHxxV2n5— Fortuna Düsseldorf (@f95) July 22, 2018
Why are u guys keep complaining when they sign a foreign player ? Is this gonna be a complain thread ? Every signing from overseas will be blamed? Normal right?
I'm making fun of transfers not complaining, lol. I do find how 1BL clubs take EPL reject on loan, funny. Those rejects should go to the Championship. some is more like glad they are gone. Origi and Osimhen are terrible and good riddance. Too many mediocre players in the league.

more like Diogo Leite of Porto B and seems like they want to spend like $15M for him. there is something very wrong here. So 99-Leite has played nothing beyond Portuguese 2nd division which is low quality and that's good enough to make the jump to 1BL? Yet none of the 98-99-00 CBs at Gladbach are good enough? the idea of integration is slowly dying when clubs jump at players with any 1st or 2nd division across of Europe even when said level is very very low. Less and less clubs even try to integrate these days. pretty much what dfb sporting director Joti Chatzialexiou criticized about 1BL clubs's promotions vs buying young players which in turns blocks domestic players.
Reminds me of how Gladbach wanted to sign Reece Oxford permanently, which is reportedly back in the news as a potential option. Meanwhile, Favre is said to be interested in bringing in Galatasaray's Younes Belhanda who he previously worked with at Nice http://www.fussballtransfers.com/bundesliga/gerucht-favre-beschaftigt-sich-mit-ex-schalker_93679
BREAKING: FC Bayern have completed the signing of Alphonso Davies from Vancouver Whitecaps. He will join the team in Philadelphia with Hasan Salihamidzic [Bild] pic.twitter.com/07TosjZCq3— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) July 24, 2018 seems like PSG had a very late bid but were too late. Shame they were too late. most have it as Bayern paying something like $13-15 M for Davies. yeah no problem whatsoever with German football and the continuing trend of wasting millions and millions on foreign youth talent. Who needs Evina, OBM and company when you have Davies. It's good for Canadian football but not a great growing trend from German football.
This wouldn’t be happening if German youth products had the necessary attributes for modern football. This era is very reminiscent of 98-2004. We are lacking pacy players who take opponents 1v1. Back then we lacked technical players and looked abroad. The youth focus on passing only is a huge issue.
but both Evina and OBM fit this. It's why it's redundant, even the Bayern II Korean Jeong is no slouch. from Hasan Salihamidzic "Oliver is very talented. We’re happy we’ve secured his services over the long term. He’s a fine footballer with a lot of pace and superb dribbling skills. Our goal is to help him improve." issue is that too many clubs are going after foreign youth players even when they already have players that fits their desires in their club/academy. with that amount spent Davies could end up blocking these players. Some reports even say the fee with add on could go as high as $20M.......
issue is Brazzo Uli Hoeness confirms: "Alphonso Davies is done. Brazzo will bring him to Philadelphia. Did I watch him? No. It's what Brazzo does" pic.twitter.com/bZNYPBnnjC— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) July 24, 2018 he's the one who seems to decide these transfers. One would think Kovac would have input but doesn't really seem like he does, lol.
I think they are playing the odds. Trying to get multiple talents per position and hoping at least one works out. Also because of the fact that Germans aren’t well liked in most of the English speaking world, they have low marketing potential. Many of these foreign players may be more marketable abroad.
that's likely the case but Davies has the edge with the amount of money thrown to get him. always found it a shame that there is no German football superstar mostly because they are German, lol.

RB Leipzig looking flat so far today against Hacken without Werner, Forsberg and Sabitzer in the lineup. They've still failed to address the midfield need after selling Naby to Liverpool
will be interesting to see how they do next season without Keita and if some of those key players get injured. I wouldn't mind if they fail to make Europe next season. But I do think EL is there level over CL. meanwhile 1BL should obsess over Portuguese and Italian Youth since they are in the U19 EC final. That's how one judges the talent of a whole country, no? While Spain failed to qualify, England bombed and are no longer U19 EC and U20 WC champs. While France U19 lost to Italy as well.
good start given that it wasn't the full RB team and good that they didn't embarrass German football. Still they have a long way before reaching the EL GS.

Breel Embolo sets himself a target to score at least 10 goals this season for Schalke https://m.bild.de/sport/fussball/embolo-breel/10-tore-sind-sein-traum-56443606.bildMobile.html Gladbach are moving their focus back in signing Reece Oxford permanently https://m.bild.de/sport/fussball/bo...rl-auf-geheimmission-56439102.bildMobile.html
Eberl is obsessed with Oxford even though he was average. Loans him in, is required to play him as certain amount of games. Fails to play him enough. So he goes back to West Ham. he then goes on and on about how he wants to develop Oxford. lol, why the fixation on developing a player that isn't yours? Makes effort to bring him back for a 2nd loan in the same season. Nothing but average yet he still wants him and is willing to spend $10+M on him, lol. Then in Summer, nothing but Eberl being fixated and obsessed with getting English talent. Bennetts just happens to be German-Brit and they get Musel because they failed in getting some British strikers. now they try to get British players, paying millions and promising them playing time as well. Why? Because Eberl is excited by English players. If your not satisfied with your players at the Academy, how hard would it be to try to lure German players from other clubs using the same tactic? You want to tell me that none would jump at the chance and they are a ton cheaper too. Kuhn for quick example was bought by Ajax for a measly $2M.
yeah like I said with the amount being spent he's for the 1st team not Bayern II. Salihamidzic confirms that Alphonso Davies will directly join the first team and not the U23s: "Sooner or later he will follow in the footsteps of the big players and we will try to get him there as soon as possible."
