threads per page and posts per page increased to 25

 

Not that I'm complaining because I like as many posts per page as possible, but variable isn't an option?

 

What does this do? I changed my preference setting but can tell no difference on my laptop.

Yeah, thats what I'd like to see. If possible. Hopefully a maximum of 50 or so post per page as one of the options.

 

Neither can I. I can make the browser window wider, all that changes is that gray sidebars get wider.

 

Your laptop resolution is probably not wider than 1160px (plus whatever your browser takes up horizontally), which is the minimum width of the fluid option.

Doesn't happen for me using Firefox (12 something) on a Windows 7 laptop with a 1366 pixel wide display. I can full screen the browser and the content area never widens.

Hold on. Let me screen cap and measure.

The content area is roughly 879 pixels wide. I'm currently in full screen on Firefox, which means I've got nearly 240 pixels of gray nothingness on the left and 220? (there is an up/down scroll bar on the extreme edge) pixels of gray nothingness on the right.

 

Nevermind, I didn't realize it was a setting. I'm there, now, but I must say that unless you intend to add a sidebar, there's still a fair amount of wasted space on either side.

 

I know you have probably gone over it, but I cant seem to find anything other than the two post above. Will there be an option for max post per page?

 

A sidebar? Brilliant idea. I wonder what I could put there that would be superuseful and everyone is asking for. Let me go think....

 

No. It is a global setting at 25. In the future it might become a user variable.
