Liked what I saw last night from Mexico in general. Really interested to see how Damm/Tecatito develop over coming years. Neither are too far off clicking to become top players. Aguirre great at DM, Guzman now should be considered a regular with Mex.

The goalkeepers are going to need time in the national team environment. Gudino was impressively assured. It's been many years in which Ochoa, Tala, Corona have been the three. Not sure Angulo is a CB, or whether Van Rankin is an international level full-back.

Alvarado's form has certainly dropped since his call-up in September. Hopefully he can pick it back up.

Difficult to many more conclusions other than individual ones until a manager is named. The situation makes me nervous. It'd be a coup from the federation to get a Martino or Queiroz. Hopefully one of them comes off.

When you got the physical tools he does, people give you a little more leeway.

Being honest, he played fine against CR. He had several bad crosses, per usual, but was still a constant headache for CR's backline.

Rotations in these types of game when incorporating new players is pretty standard

But when you’re doing it in official games then that’s another story

Besides, you really can’t criticize Tuca when you take into account that he’s only here as an interim coach
