After all jumping at it when we beat Germany. A German victory that some of the FIFA reporters called one of the best strategies of all the World Cup and who every analyst worth anything said was spot on that day but the great journalists of Andre Marin and Daniel Brailovsky said it was ALL because of the players and nobody else. That credibility

I don't watch a minute of any sports media that deals with "opinions" of reporters. 99% of them are shit. I only say what I see. And I see a bunch of players that can't back their shit up when their backs are against the wall. And you have (or had) a manager that stomps and cries when he doesn't get his way.

It's was a shit show. I'm glad Osorio left and most of the players will be phased out soon.

Aside from Guardado and Oribe, who else from the WC roster is going to be phased out?

Lozano, Corona and Jimenez will remain for sure. Herrera and Jona have another cycle in them. Gallardo, Reyes, Edson, etc.

If there was a competitive game this week, any manager would call in 90% if the WC squad.

There’s reality and then there is hyperbole. You’re trending towards the latter with that comment.

The players that need to be phased out by 2022 WC are the players that are currently on the wrong side of 30 years old or close to it and players that play in MLS. It's really that simple.

The best teams in the world are teams filled with talented youth, players in their prime and maybe one or two "veterans".

Mexico had the 2nd oldest team in the WC and even if you remove Rafa from the roster, Mexico had the 4th oldest team. You think that's ok? (don't answer, it's a rhetorical question).

I just looked over the list and it was pretty surprising how many would/should be phased out. No need calling up players who will not be improving or keeping great form for the next cycle. Chicharito is another one that could still compete if there is no strikers stepping up.

    These are the players.
    Golies: Alfredo Talavera, Jesus Corona

Defenders: Hector Moreno, Hugo Ayala, Miguel Layun

Midfielders: Rafa Marquez, Jonathan dos Santos, Andres Guardado, Marco Fabian, Giovani Dos Santos

Forwards: Chicharito, Oribe Peralta, Carlos Vela

That is 13 players. IMO Moreno and jona Dos Santos could still be in it. But Moreno has good competition from salcedo, reyes, and arajuo.

Good guy Charlie Candle wants to assure LAFC qualify for the playoffs, and so he's giving a chance to try out some new blood in his stead. Kills two birds with one stone. [emoji41]

Guardado can still contribute IMO he's a class act.

Jona, Vela, and Gio can go to hell- if they want to play in MLS good- but we should learn from Sweden with Zlatan and leave their asses home. There are a lot of young, hungry lions that can step up right now.

Moreno is on some bullshit. I'd rather go with Araujo and Salcedo at this point.

I really like Herrera- he should stay.

MEMO is the f*cking man. He got us into the ko stages if we're honest.

Vela did better against brazil than hernandez and lozano put together. Vela is still the GOAT
