the reference was that a miner would see a flash in the pan while panning for gold but it wouldn't turn out to be gold (or a lot of gold) "it was just a flash in the pan" and pan out like you described. put dirt in the pan and out comes gold. he panned out. i need to get home to "contemplate this further"
Definitely a memorable one, not sure if you are saying this one is better or not but i would put Borgetti's above. The Nery goal is really good but heading the ball is a difficult skill much less with your back to goal and turning in the air.
oh, definitely, not to mention the stage, Jared's goal is superior IMO. I like this goal, the Nery one, but the aftermath of it is what I didn't like, it made a bunch of people make him out to be this God, specially here, it went on basically until his end. /p
