We've always been ostensibly on the brink of not making the World Cup. Somehow thingsnbreak our way because we're a concacaf giant. That's what we do. We rose to the occasion. All this hand wringing is cute. All teams need luck and help from other teams in qualifying. This is nothing new. It's simply the way qualifying works.
Well you have global giants there...not just regional giants like us...which is why Germany and Argentina find ways to win against seemingly tough teams like us in the World Cup...
And so have we in qualifying..that's my point...we find ways to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat in CONCACAF...they do it on the global stage.
Not if those other teams watch video of Mexico's struggles against CONCACAF teams who park the bus...
Conmebol would be extremely hard but I believe we have come to a point where Concacaf (for now) can't win against Mexico. For instance if we beat the nads come June 11th.That would be 4 wins in a row.
Conmebol would be a different kind of beast though. As we will no longer have a technical advantage in some of the games. As well as being physically out matched by everyone except maybe 2-5 teams give or take at a time.
I see my little cousins enjoying the new stuff, it's an anime for little children, we're not its target anymore. The games in the other hand...
I better see Montes at the Gold Cup, or I'm gonna write a strongly worded letter expressing my disapproval.
So tickets go on sale real soon for the games against Honduras (June 8) and the u.s.
