Re: Bryan de la Fuente at Club Tijuanamerica On that note - anyone know a trustyworthy place where I can buy a Club Tijuana shirt??? Bigsoccershop and worldsoccershop dont have any.
The Bryan de la Fuente Poblanno listed as a Tijuana player in the Mexican fed's database is a '92 born in Mexico. U.S. Soccer lists the ex-Chivas USA guy as a '91. http://www.ussoccer.com/teams/u-20-mnt/d/bryan-de-la-fuente.aspx I suppose they could be the same guy, but this seems... odd. Is there another guy with this name at the club? EDIT: Chivas USA has him as a '92 born in Texas: http://www.cdchivasusa.com/players/bryan-de-la-fuente But the photos on the Chivas USA site and the Mexican Fed are pretty certainly the same dude.
US Soccer's website isn't known for 100% accuracy in birth years -- they still have Bobby Wood wrong. De la Fuente is a 92.
I think Corona crosses the border everyday but in an interview Greg Garza said he planned on living in Tijuana.
The big difference there is that Corona is originally from SD. My guess would be most of the guys would live in TJ until they know they are on the first team.
Yes. As a Chivas USA supporter I can tell you that I spoke to him after he parted ways with Chivas USA and was trying his luck with Xolos. ps, He scored today in a 3-1 victory in the reserves (he posted it on facebook)
Interesting....he just signed with the Xolos and was supposedly doing well. I wonder if this is a loan opportunity or just training?
Anyone know what da la Fuente is doing? Is he still playing on the U-20s with Rodriguez? The Arriola signing made me think of him.
In a game day thread recently someone posted that he was with a NPSL side in Orange County. Not sure what happened.
On that note - anyone know a trustyworthy place where I can buy a Club Tijuana shirt??? Bigsoccershop and worldsoccershop dont have any.
he's playing for Chivas U-23s who won some local/regional league http://www.thegoatparade.com/2013/8...unbeaten-season-jose-gomez-bryan-de-la-fuente
