Over the past four Halloween episodes, the title of "Ultimate Detective/Genius" has now been won by (in order) Jake, Captain Holt, Amy and Gina, the last of whom then changed the name of the title to "Ultimate Human/Genius".

It was pretty weird how the in-car dialogue between Jake and the New Girl didn't sync from the Nine-Nine episode to the New Girl episode.

As far as crossovers in general: it seems that no matter how much the writers try to keep both sets of characters "in-character" as much as possible in both episodes, the visiting (to the other show) characters usually seem a bit off since no two shows' tones and such are exactly the same. This was no exception, as the Nine-Nine characters seemed a bit off on the New Girl episode (I have no idea if the New Girl seemed off in the Nine-Nine episode since I've never previously watched New Girl).
