Flamengo is actually gritty this year. Even second half against Flu was.

I agree, but I want to see that tested in the Libertadores.

Good look, Abel has managed his ass off so far this season. They know the roster is trash right ? It looks like a ponte roster lol

I had Flu as a potential relegation candidate based off their roster alone. Abel was the only saving grace. Marcelo Oliveira had been gifted better sides in the past and underwhelmed. I don't see him working magic here with Flu. Not even when MO went back to Coritiba was he able to play his lame brand of football.

Not too confident either . Just hoping with other teams losing players, they will drop in quality and drop points.

Watched two good games yesterday, and they both went the way I wanted. Palmeiras 3x2 Atlético Mineiro, and Cruzeiro 2x1 Atlético Paranaense. Ever since the loss to Belgium I kind of stayed away from soccer (although I did watch France vs. Croatia) - I tend to get disgusted after a Brazil World Cup loss and take a while to recover - but now I guess I'm over it and ready to continue to watch my Cruzeiro's games (and of course rooting against Atlético Mineiro is part of it). Cruzeiro now is in third place and still alive in the Libertadores (although Flamengo next will be tough) and the Copa Brazil. Back to the G4 and one point ahead of Atlético, so, good. The new guy Hernán Barcos is good. Arrascaeta also had a great game yesterday and tied the record for the most goals scored by a foreigner at Cruzeiro. Our victory yesterday featured one goal by each foreigner (Barcos scored his first goal with Cruzeiro, and Arrascaeta his 45th).

That's the setup you want to see? Heard Dorival might be coming back. At this point, why do you even fire him? lol
