Hertha Berlin (4-5-1): Jarstein; Weiser, Langkamp, Rekik, Plattenhardt; Skjelbred, Stark, Leckie, Darida, Kalou; Ibisevic Substitutes: Kraft, Pekarik, Esswein, Stocker, Haraguchi, Torunarigha, Lustenberger. Plattenhardt and Weiser, Zagadou and LP will be really tested today. Is the Toljan deal off?
Auba scores after a nice assist by Sahin I think. Good start but Berlin still looks like a tough opponent.
Watching Pulisic is starting to remind me a little of the way Robben plays (with the exception of the pathetic diving). Good speed, very fast change of direction, very deceptive feet, desire to cut back and take the quick shot around the top of the 18, etc. He's obviously not at that level yet, but I see a lot of similarities.
i think this is the first half that Philip has really impressed me. he's had some good touches and seems to be getting more in sync wit the team
Sahin, Pulisic, Zagadou and PEA have carried the team in that order. Max, LP, Sokratis, Marc, Burki have been good enough. Castro is invisible. Not sure why Götze is so awful. Must be the meds.
Gotze off for Shinji, good he'll get a run out. He was much brighter in the second half, close to bagging two assists
New fan here, gang. You might be seeing more of me as I try to learn more about Dortmund. I've been an Arsenal fan for a long time but find them virtually unwatchable lately. I need another team to love and root for!
Really liked what I saw Gotze doing 15 mins of the 2nd half...almost grabbed two beautiful assists...also Max Philip had a very bright performance
