I have been saying this last summer.... sign someone around 30 to 40 million as a backup to Carvajal. We are rich.... we can afford a 30 million backup. And then, send Achraf on a loan. Achraf is only a teenager. He is talenetd and 6 years younger than Carvajal. He can come back at age 21 and serve as Carvajal as backup. We do not need to throw Achraf into the spotlight so soon and have him destroyed emotionally?

 

Legit question, is Achraf left footed? His crosses with us from the right were terribru, but he was doing much better for Morocco on the left. I don't remember him switching feet in either role, might be ambidextrous but his crossing from the right needs more work.

 

Not a fan of the signing to be honest. Nothing against the guy but we already have too many young players not getting much playing time. Should have used Nacho as our replacement right back.

 

His crosses are terrible with both feet.

Again i am happy that this is probably a Lopetegui signing. He knows the player's strength and the player would be comfortable with the coach.

Good signing. Nacho isn’t very good going forward. The team loses a lot when carvajal doesn’t play so this is a clever signing because carvajal has picked up many injuries recently
