    David Suazo, Pride Of Honduras!

Is Suazo the best in Concacaf, people yes he has been the most succesfull striker playing abroad in he last few years (except for the season he was injured). He has made his team go from serie B to A with his own evolution(constant improvements through the years). Is he the Best of the World "NO" , he needs to be in a big team to be between the top 5 strikers in Europe. He is part of the top 10 in Europe yes just look at this: http://www.uefa.com/footballeurope/news/Kind=2/newsId=419558.html

He was ranked 7th in the Golden Shoe before he scored his 22nd goal and broke Rivas record. He is above all latin american strikers in the ranking. You will see that ESPN Deportes will rank him as the Top Latin American Striker in Italy and with that Uefa ranking looks like he got that for Europe too. These subject sould not have any more scrutiny, He is hottest latin American Comodity at this moment, wheather he moves from Cagliari or not, The world has his eyes on him, Good for him he deserved it.

*Oh foot note* Tonight Olimpia of Honduras played Boca Juniors of Argentina. The score was 2-1 in favor of the Honduran team.

And for all the haters the only player missing in the Boca team is Palermo, and Olimpia played the first half with all the replacements, and put in part of the starters in the second half. The final of Honduran football is this weekend so they did not want to wear them out. So there are no excuses they are more concentrated on winning the TRI championship. yes they are going to there third championship in a row.

In any case good for them VIVA Olimpia, and to my mexican friends, your league is the best no doubt, but be more objective with all other players and teams around the Concacaf.

Like I said before Olimpia also played with reserves and did not have starters come in till the second half. Palacios, Palermo and Abodazieri were missing from the team. If you know anything about top flight team like Boca is that the always have to divide teams up, they are always playing multiple competions all at once and they have to do that to comply with the need. In any case this All about Suazo not about Olimpia or Boca. Suazo is our best stricker export at the moment bottom line.

Thats what the Uefa and ESPN proffesionals think.. why dont you write them an email or something saying that you (a waste of oxygen) think different than they do. maybe they'll reconsider

Well apparently Tevez is not for sale so its going to be very hard to get to him currently and plus David Suazo has been playing in Europe for about 7 years now so his name has been out there he is just finally getting the publicity because he has stepped up his game. VIVA HONDURAS !

Well let me see, I said hottest latin american comodity in Eurpoe, UEFA is Europe right, Ok so we are talking about players in Europe. Now if we wanted to mention hot comodoties in South America, Yep I would say Tevez and about two more pages of players from Brazil Argentina, etc......
Like I said your point is? I was talking about Europe, don't know what you were talking about bro!

that's kinda harsh. i wasn't disagreeing so much as expressing my surprise.

before this you had always specified "in Italy" or "in Europe", so it looked like you were giving him a separate accolade here. you called him "top striker" rather than "hottest commodity" when speaking of him in the earlier sentences so i thought that this was your personal opinion instead. plus, i'd still say Adriano gets more looks from the big-money clubs even after his poor season.

If I was a team owner I would probably gamble on Adriano before Suazo (Brazil carries such weight that defenders fear that more), The fact that he is best of Concacaf and ESPN and UEFA put him as the best latin American Comodity in Europe out of Italy NOT ME! I got your angle though, dude no issues here.

    This speaks for itself

    David Suazo (Cagliari): 9

I read about a page and a half and skipped the rest. No doubt about it, Suazo is the best CONCACAF forward.

Just a couple of interesting facts I recently read here in the Italian press:

    - In a 100 meter sprint Suazo is the fastest player in the entire Serie A.

    - The weekly Italian sports magazine Guerin Sportivo recently estimated his current value to be at 15 million euros.

I can believe that. One of his trademark moves is to kick the ball 10-20 yards in front of him and just leave defenders in his wake. Unfortunately when he does this he also leaves his Cagliari teammates behind as well. I would love to see just once a Suazo/Eto'o striker partnership. It would be scary good.
15 million is still a bargain imo when you see some of the prices other strikers have gone for in the last year or two(I'm looking at you Gilardino and Oliviera  ).

Still, the fact Borgetti can't hack the Premiership doesn't mean he sucks, it just doesn't fit him. McBride's playing style suits the English game and probably would have problems in Spain, just like Owen did. Maradona and Ronaldo didn't do good in Spain at first either but blew up in the Serie A, which on paper at least was a much harder league.

Of course you can speculate on how McBride or Borgetti would do in other leagues, but most of the facts you use to make your point are completely wrong:

    - Owen didn't have problems with the playing style in Spain. He had problems with his coach, who only wanted to use him as a sub. But he still finished with 13 goals that season and had the highest ratio of goals scored per minutes played of any player in La Liga.

    - Maradona's problems in Spain came mostly from a broken ankle and a case of hepatitis. But when he played he played quite well.

    - And in Ronaldo's first season in Spain (with Barcelona) he scored 34 goals in 37 appearances! That's not doing good??

Maradona´s problems came mainly from the Barcelona president´s authoritarian style, and what they considered his indicipline(taking the whole team out on the town, parties in his house until the wee hours of the morning, him admitting later on his cocaine problems started in Spain, etc.) That brawl in `83 was the final straw.

And Ronaldo had problems with the administration as well(constant trips back and forth from Spain to Brazil) among other things.

Ruiz is really good too, however he has not been able to arrive at most competitive team and better league, however he has shown in the last qualifier his goal potential. But the I do not think he is the best Concacaf forward, BUT he is one of the top six. The BEST FORWARD IS DAVID "EL REY" SUAZO been in an middle table league and not having great plaeyers around as the others forward do in that league for example Milan, Inter, Rome and such others he has been able to scored goals. Sorry but there NO ONE right to be better than him in the Concacaf.

    1)Suazo (Hounduars)
    2)Vela (Mexico
    3)Ruiz (Guate)
    4)Bravo (Mexico)
    5)Wanchope (Costa Rica)
    6)Eddie Johson (USA)
