Bernardo Silva is world class already. Anyone who says otherwise is acting a fool

Woah sorry I didn't know I insulted your son lol. Acting super touchy here .

Bernardo was good but should have done more for a guy touted as the new big thing . Second half he was invisible.

I just have high standards , after all my club produced the likes of cr7. Big boots to fill. We'll be nice and see if he can reach nanis level.

If he said Sanchez or Guedes, then many on this board would probably agree, but Bernardo???

    He's trolling that's all.
    Typical modus operandi

Troll like a loser, people get upset, then he plays the victim card.
Last time he he just ran away like a little bitch.

You will never know the feeling to see your club be responsible for forming almost the entire team to win your national teams first major title , including four starters.

Meanwhile , when Portugal had a large Porto core we all remember what happened . Epic cagou July 4,2004 to Greece at home.

Champions League, Last 16, Tuesday 21 February, City if Manchester Stadium.

    Manchester City 5 (Sterling 26', Agüero 58', Agüero 71, Stones 77', Sané 82)

    A.S. Monaco 3 (Falcao 32', Mbappé 40, Falcao 61')

Moutinho came off the bench for Bernardo who started at 84'. Bernardo had a good game. Plenty to discuss but I will just comment on the major turning points for Monaco. Firstly Fabinho should of taken the penalty, who has scored in his last 14 penalties if my memory is correct (he just scored one against Guingamp), Falcao has missed quite a few and this one was crucial. Secondly, Subašić frango was deadly just after the penalty miss, it could and should of been 3-1 at this stage. Lastly, Jardim, he let the game slip away while in indecision which might well have cost Monaco the draw and Monaco's CL campaign. Very disappointing, Monaco gave the game away.

Bernardo made the City midfield look like amateurs...but he didn't win the game by himself therefore he is all hype.

Ligue 1, Week 27, Saturday 25 February 2017, Stade Municipal du Roudourou

    E.A. Guingamp 1 (Didot 90')

    A.S. Monaco 2 (Glik 24', Fabinho (P) 86')

Bernardo and Moutinho both started and finished the game. Generally a mediocre display by Monaco's elements after the City game and before the game against Marseille on Wednesday for the Coupe de France last 16. Luckily Glik got his 7th of the season and Fabinho took the penalty after Mbappé was fouled in the area.

Coupe de France, Last 16, 1 March 2017, Stade Vélodrome

    Olympique Marseille 3 (Payet 43', Cabella 84', Cabella 111')

    A.S. Monaco 4 (Pelé (OG) 19', Mbappé 66', Mendy 104', Lemar 113')

Moutinho played the whole game and Bernardo came on for Dirar 80'. Moutinho hit a very good free kick that hit the post and went in off the GK early on. Payet hit the equalizer (good technique). Mbappé then got the better of Rolando with a deft touch for 2-1. Cabella got Marseille equal again, late on, 84'. Extra time.Bernardo ran free in a counter attack releasing Mbappé just before he got caught, who inturn set up Mendy for a easy goal against his former side. 2-3. But Marseille however tied the game for the third time after a nice header from Sertic set up Cabella for his second after coming on as a sub at 77' for Lopez. 2 minutes later, Lemar got the fourth for Monaco after good work by Mendy (MOM) in which Bernardo (good cameo) did a little jump over the ball, that did not put off Lemar. Marseille failed to equalize for the fourth time.

Ligue 1, Week 28, Sunday 5 March 2017, Side Louis II

    A.S. Monaco 4 (Mbappé 4', Germain 43', Mbappé 46', Fabinho [P] 59')

    F.C. Nantes Atlantique 0

Bernardo started and was replaced by Dirar 78' while Moutinho came off the bench to replace Mbappé 68'. Good work from Bernardo plus lots of luck got Mbappé on the scoresheet early on. Germain got the second and Mbappé got his second just before the break. Bernardo with a trademark cross for Mbappé's second. Conceição's Nantes were not in the game but having lost only to the top 3 in the last dozen games. Lemar got fouled in the box for the 4th comfortably taken by pro-penalty taker Fabinho. Easy game, really.

Ligue 1, Week 29, Saturday 11 March 2017, Stade Louis II

    A.S. Monaco 2 ( Mbappé 68', Moutinho 74')

    F.C. Girondins de Bordeaux 1 (Rolán 84')

Bernardo and Moutinho started but only Moutinho finished as Bernardo was replaced by Bakayoko 82'. 0-0 at HT. Falcao came on and assisted Mbappé for his 10th of the season at a younger stage than Henry the ex Monaco/French striker. Bernardo than got another assist although the goal was all Moutinho's, Golaço! Next game is tomorrow against Manchester City, in the return leg at home after losing 5-3 away.

Bernardo will probably choke again on the big stage , as usual with Benfica products

Great stuff. Terrific ball control, great distribution, esp. under pressure. The play at 1:10, holy cow. That's Messi-like. Trolls David Silva, Aguero and Toure and then hits perfectly weighed 40 yard pass for Falcao, between 2 defenders. Lots of other great plays in that highlight reel too - fantastic player.

Very good defensive display from Bernardinho too. Nice to see such a creative player working for the team.

Bernardo, Renato, Andre Gomes, Coentrao, Gaitan all still left in the CL.

Ronaldo is still left though. So is Moutinho. They are more United and Porto TBH
