3. Ligue 1, Week 20, Sunday 15 January, Orange Vélodrome Olympique de Marseille 1 (Rolando 28') A.S. Monaco 4 (Lemar 15', Falcao 21', Bernardo 45', Bernardo 56')
4. Ligue 1, Week 20, Sunday 15 January, Orange Vélodrome Olympique de Marseille 1 (Rolando 28') A.S. Monaco 4 (Lemar 15', Falcao 21', Bernardo 45', Bernardo 56')
Ligue 1, Week 21, Sunday 22 January 2017, Stade Louis II A.S. Monaco 4 (Boschilia 24', Boschilia 28', Germain 37', Germain 59') F.C. Lorient 0 Bernardo started, replaced by Lemar 64' and Moutinho started replaced Bakayoko 69'. Boschilia scored first with GK Lecomte not looking good. Bernardo then had a terrific little run, a little travela and Boschilia had 2 . That was Bernardo's 7th assist in the league this season. Boschilia has 8 goals in 14 games with quite a few as a sub, another big money transfer in the making. Still in the first half Lecomte messed up again, Falcao hit the post but Germain placed the ball inside the post for his 6th league goal. In the second half Bernardo got the ball back, Sidibé strode on, Germain took over and scored his 11th overall of the season. Bernardo has now 7 goals and 7 assists this season and should be aiming for 15 each. http://www.ligue1.com/ligue1/feuille_match/82001
Ligue 1, Week 22, Sunday 29 January 2017, Parc des Princes Paris Saint-Germain 1 (Cavani 81') A.S. Monaco 1 (Bernardo 92') Did not watch the game. Bernardo started and finished while Moutinho came on for Germain on 76'. Good play by Bernardo gave Falcao a shot that was save and Lemar's follow on shot was well defended. Sidibé then gave a penalty away after Draxler had got in front of him from which cavan scored (21st of the season). Gonçalo Guedes then replaced Draxler after his 30M Euro move from S.L.B., he was in the picture late on in injury time as Bernardo took advantage of slack defending and a slight deflection to rob a point off P.S.G. Bernardo has been getting vital goals this season . http://www.ligue1.com/ligue1/feuille_match/82011
5. Ligue 1, Week 22, Sunday 29 January 2017, Parc des Princes Paris Saint-Germain 1 (Cavani 81') A.S. Monaco 1 (Bernardo 92') Belíssimo Bernardinho
Coupe de France, Last 32, Wednesday 1 February 2017, Stade des Marais F.C. Chambly 4 (Soubervie 57', Padovani 70', Gendrey 81', Soubervie 110') A.S. Monaco 5 (Carrillo 17', Lemar 34', Mbappe 48', N'Doram 96', Glik 103') Did not watch the game. Bernardo was rested with others while Moutinho played the whole game. Game time for the likes of N'Doram (21 years old) and Nguinda. After Monaco had gone 0-3 up after 48 minutes, Soubervie got one back with a world class finish. Podovani made it 2-3 with a well placed header and Gendrey tied the game thus taking the cup game into extra time. Chambly had made a unforeseeable tie from 3-0 down, leaving giant hopes for a massive upset. However the youngster N'Doram (who hardly plays, first time I have seen him) scored his first of the season to make it 3-4 and Glik (what a buy) made it 5-3 after a corner from Moutinho. Soubervie had time though to scored another Golão in the 110 minute. Monaco's lax second half performance with a 'non-titularidade de onze' had in the end not cost them. Monaco now play Marseille away on the 1st of March in the last 16. http://uk.soccerway.com/matches/2017/02/01 /france/coupe-de-france/fc-chambly-thelle/association-sportive-monaco-fc/2392555/?ICID=HP_MS_04_07
Ligue 1, Week 23, Saturday 4 February, Stade Louis II A.S. Monaco 3 (Germain 48', Falcao 60', Falcao 81) Olympique Gymnaste Club Nice Côte d'Azur (Nice) 0 Did not watch the game (but back from holiday for tomorrows game vs Montpellier). Bernardo started and was replaced by Dirar 88' and Moutinho replaced Germain from the bench (77'). Will forgo the commentary this time as you can watch for yourself and because I got a Bernardo vs Nice compilation coming right up. Monaco go three points clear of PSG and Nice. http://www.ligue1.com/ligue1/feuille_match/82019
Coupe de la Ligue, SF, Tuesday 24 January, Stade Louis II A.S. Monaco 1 (Falcao 47') A.S. Nancy 0 * Out of sync (forgot about this game) Moutinho started and finished while Bernardo started but was subbed at 68' by Fabinho. Bernardo got possession back in one instance but a good recovery by the defender blocked the shot, later on Bernardo tracking back gave a crucial little push on Chetout just before he pulled the trigger and the shot went just wide, however it could of easily be a soft penalty. Falcao scored after a massive Frango by Assembe in injury time first half. Monaco now face PSG in the final on 1 April 2017. http://www.ligue1.com/coupeLigue/feuille_match/82772
this guy is playing amazing right now. Cant wait to see him play in Confeds cup and then World cup Gelson Martins off the bench would be the perfect "Can-opener" against bunker defences near the end of the game.
Bernardo wins Best Player in January in Lique 1, first time he has won this award. https://www.rtp.pt/noticias/desport...r-jogador-de-janeiro-da-liga-francesa_v982937 (with video)
Ligue 1, Week 24, Saturday 11 February, Stade Louis II A.S. Monaco 5 (Mbappé 7', Falcao 10', Mbappé 20', Mbappé 49', Falcao 55') F.C. Metz 0 Bernardo and Moutinho both started and finished the game. Boschilia got injured and might be out for the rest of the season, big blow for Monaco as he was a super sub scorer and excellent for rotation while keeping quality high. Mbappé hatrick (3rd goal offside), first in Ligue 1 but has one other in the Coupe de la Ligue, will go for at least 50ME. Falcao only scored 2. http://www.ligue1.com/ligue1/feuille_match/82038
So Monaco ties Bastia 1-1, Bernardo scores a header... but forget about the outcome, Bernardo Silva, right now, is a top 10 player in the world. Everything Monaco does offensively, who by the way, have the most prolific offense in Europes top 5 leagues, runs through him. However, his tireless work ethic defensively is what in my opinion needs to be discussed more. He is an incredible, tenacious, intelligent footballer, and if he moves to another teams this summer, it better be to a team where he gets full playing time, because this young man is world class and deserves the spotlight.
Ligue 1, Week 24, Friday 19 February, Stade Armand Cesari S.C. Bastia 1 (Diallo 19'0 A.S. Monaco 1 (Bernardo 52') Both Bernardo and Moutinho started and finished. Bernardo who scored with another header! was the only Monaco player really up for this game while the rest were focused on tomorrows game against Manchester City in Manchester (Bernardo vs S.C. Bastia below). Quite a few chances missed after Bernardo had set the team up to score. http://www.ligue1.com/ligue1/feuille_match/82045
6. Ligue 1, Week 24, Friday 19 February, Stade Armand Cesari S.C. Bastia 1 (Diallo 19'0 A.S. Monaco 1 (Bernardo 52')
Can't believe I bought into the hype Garbage against man city non factor Another media product of slb Gelson martins against Real Madrid is something this guy can only dream of He'll be another typical choker benfica product like Andre Gomes João Mario over Bernardo any day of the week
What game were you watching? He contributed to one of the goals and could have had an extra two assists. He engineered a world class play in that first half. I know you can't stand the mere prospect of our academy taking over, but come on.
His contribution was one simple Sideways pass into empty space , The other guy made the killer cross Did nothing to justify the hype other than a couple fancy dribbles . Portugal future is in big trouble with cagoes like Bernardo silva . Belgium has tielemen and other guys , Italy has berlondoni, Brazil Gabriel Jesus , No wonder we have no chance in 2018.
Honestly, STFU. You working on digging another hole for yourself and retiring again ? The kid is world class, starts and is a major contributor on the first place Monaco. If he was from Sporting you would be going nuts over him as you do for most Sporting youth players. The kid has world class skill and vision and is getting better. That is great for Portugal irregardless of who developed him.
