Tough game for Cottbus, home against a Bremen club that smoked FCN midweek.

Bundesliga.de reports that Cottbus will probably get some prominent help from next week on: Paulo Rink is without contract at the moment and therefore is not bound to the transfer deadline. Cottbus loves to have him from Monday on and it seems that they can agree on a moderate salary.

Gregg starts, Kicker has him at left back. Interesting.

Looks like Berhalter subbed off, 71' in. Tactical, probably.

Little piece on Berhalter in a short article on Micoud:

The magical hour of the 4-1 against Nürnberg was followed by a “culture shock” for Werder’s new star: Johan Micoud (29) experienced hard Bundesliga work in Cottbus. “That was a hard fight with many fouls, I wasn’t used to it”, judged the French who was getting a special opponent with US national player Gregg Berhalter. Time and again Micoud was able to prove his level with sudden moves, but all tries of creativity were stopped early. At least: Monsieur Micoud feels like being arrived in the Bundesliga. “A good experience to get to know about the playing style of the league”.
