Why did Belize not play in their home stadium Marion Jones Sports Complex http://www.worldstadiums.com/stadium_pictures/middle_america/belize/belize_city_jones.shtml There was a FIFA article stating that it was due to lack of proper facalities. Could some one tell me the particular requirements? Size, pitch, ect which prevented from playing in Belize. thanks
the marian jones stadium is not even completed, money has been donated for the completion but noting by the part of the government & the ffb .. hopefully this new government will take the recent results and run with them and create a fifa approved stadium.

Belize had no home game in 04 either during WCQ against Canada. As a result, both games of the home-and-away were played in Canada. There was a lot of talk of refurbishing old grounds then but it seems to have been mostly talk. I do hope they can come through with the latest project. Bleize played with heart and werent flithy dirty like some of the national teams in latin america.
Belize misses big chance for home game! In four years they better have a stadium that can host a home game.
