I don't know that Atleti is the best game to bring a player back from a months long injury layoff. I don't care what other precautions have been taken, there's got to be another, weaker game/opponent he can find his feet against.

 

This transfer is turning into a big disapointment.Februaty will come and he has barely contributed to the team,few good matches and thats it......its goint to be ferbruary and he has scored 1 goal .....joke really.

We are basicaly the same team as last year with Valverde and Mendy emerging as important players ,Hazard/Jovic the 2 big signings are the 2 big failures so far .
I really hope we can sign Mbappe or Sadio Mane in the summer,i dont trust Hazard as a leader or a player to build a team around....he is just not good imo.

 

The plan seems to be give him more than enough time to get fully fit and raring to go, not bring him back too early when he’s not quite ready, we need him at his best against the best teams so I personally don’t have a problem with this

 

His first game back will obviously not be from start. I think that's clear. But it'll be nice to have him back with enough game time ready for our CL game against City

 

Yea I worry about what kind of form he will be in after coming back from almost 2 months without playing, he highly doubt he picks up where he left off.

 

Man what a disaster of a season he’s having.

 

And I wonder if the actual problem is not the injury or a reoccurrence thereof; but that he regressed back to being 20 kilos overweight and the club knows that if they send him back out there overweight the fans will have his head so they are hoping a couple of extra weeks will give him enough time to trim the fat off before anyone notices.

 

Fingers crossed.

 

He needs to take whatever time he needs. He won't come back in good shape or form so it is risky that he reinjures.

Better that he is 100% certain and that way he can focus on fitness and form and not rehabilitation
