AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has confirmed England midfielder David Beckham will rejoin the club on loan in January.

What do you guys think of this move?

waste of time and waste of money...Becks is good for business, so waste of money might sound a bit harsh..I don't think he's the guy you need now...he seems like Silvio's desire...like Ronaldinho...You guys need 1RB-1LB-1CB-2CMs(younger and talented)

At least Beckham will give 100%, which is much more than you can say about Ronaldinho.

i think most milan supporters will be happy to have him back. he's still young by milan standards, and he works his nuts off. dude still provides good service which is something this team is desprate for. as i've said before, i hope he gives us the same spark he did when he arrived last season and helps us finish higher than where we are now.

its just a personal pet peeve of mine when people call Milan "AC." I mean its not like you call Manchester United, "FC."

Associazione Calcio Milan, commonly referred to by the abbreviation AC Milan or simply Milan, is an Italian professional football club based in Milan.

Hope this will educate some people...

Beckham did very well for us last season and always played at 100% effort.

Hes doing very well for LA this year (which he wasnt last year) so I hope when he comes over he can continue that and light some fire in the other players.

Nobody in Italy ever says 'AC'....just 'Milan'.

But there are people outside who do that, thinking AC is Milan...that's why they need to know what AC stands for...

So the 4-3-3 worked ok against Real Madrid, then where does Beckham fit in. Last season he seemed to put in more defensive effort than Flamini, but we know he's a 4-4-2 kind of guy, right?

He could take Gattuso, Ambro or Seedorf place. Playing him in the centre could allow him to use his Hollywood passes.

Those hollywood passes and crosses he's know for usually come from the right hand side of the pitch. I imagine if he takes any position in the 4-3-3 it would be on the right side of the 3 man midfield. which is fine by me.

when becks comes to Milan, i can see him playin in midfield...rotating him between seedorf/gattuso/ambro and flamini...i think pirlo is a starter while the others can be rotated around...

How long will he stay? Till the end of the season?

It seems like the LA galaxy is pretty adamant about keeping him in the long term. I expect that he'll be loaned out till the end of the season, and this could be the last time he ever makes any kind of transfer.

i believe it will be until the end of the season, and he'll return to LA after the world cup.

Don't worry. The media does this so they can come out with a whole fresh slew of articles tomorrow re: Beckham to AC Milan - Deal Signed!

The arrival of Beckham and perhaps a back that actually adds something to the team on offense will probably also help Huntelaar, since he's getting no service at all.
