I quite like Beck. But I just heard the song “Paper Tiger” on the radio from his forthcoming album “SeaChange.” And a large element of the song is a string section break that sounds verrrrrrrrry similar to the string section in David Holmes’ “Don’t Die Just Yet” off his “Let’s Get Killed” album. Granted, both are probably samples. And this isn't to say that this totally discounts the song and I think it's crap — it’s actually pretty cool. But still ... it’s a pretty big sound grab.
