Chupete Suazo makes it 1-0 Monterrey in the 5th minute. Plenty of watching the ball movement from Puebla players instead of putting in a strong challenge. Amazed at the greatness that is, Suazo perhaps?

16th minute, Beasley almost got an assist on a golazo. He shook a defender on a cutback and passed to Spaniard Luis Garcia who hit the post.

Beasley starting to get more involved with running plays. He's only made one disconnect on a pass.

Puebla's Juan Carlos Osorio, as always, writing notes down. Announcers mentioning this, in jest it appears. lol

Don't forget, another MLS reject Landin on the field too.

'34 Beasley clears a ball headed to Suazo in the box which could have made it 2-0.

    ugh.

'38 Puebla goal from Silva from a corner. The corner was caused by Beasley's cross into the box and cleared out by Monterrey's Basanta.

They showed the team celebrating then panned on JC Osorio who was writing Chapter 5 in his notebook:rolleyes::p

Monterrey have taken Puebla for granted in the later stages of this second half. Puebla are given Monterrey issues in that Monterrey is a team that thrives when they have a rhythm into their offense. This is not the case with Puebla relying on a run and gun approach after they win the ball (which as we know favors a player like Beasley)

And so at the half it's 1-1.

Beaz should have done much better with that header. Puebla with good pressure.

A mess in the box after a Monterrey corner resulting in a goal. 2-1.
