    BATE Borisov v The Arsenal
    UEFA Europa League
Borisov Arena, Barysaw, Barysaw Raion, Minsk Voblast, Belarus
    Thursday, 28 September 2017
    KICKOFF: 1800 UK/1300 Eastern/1000 Pacific
    US TV: FS2

If I'm not mistaken, it's our first ever match in Belarus, and hopefully our last, because this Europa League shit is for the birds.

Fun fact: BATE is an acronym meaning Borisov Automobile and Tractor Electronics.

Second string and kids only please.

    Ospina
    Holding-BFG-???
    ???-Elneny-Wilshere-???
    Theo-Giroud-Iwobi

AMN probably starts at one of the wing-back spots. I'm really at a loss as to what our wing-back depth chart looks like right now.

I guess you're right that we've never played in Belarus before? But we did have a pretty nifty Belarusian midfielder once.

I see that their stadium is only 12K or so. Wouldn't you think they'd move this match to their national stadium? Assuming they have such a thing.

The Borisov Arena is the national stadium.

There's a bigger stadium in Minsk that is apparently undergoing a renovation that has taken 5+ years so far.

I haven't heard of any of the first three players listed. Vlad Dragomir sounds like a character from a bad vampire romance novel.

McGuane is supposed to be some box-to-box styled runner. But I haven't seen much of him.

I'm assuming this will be streamable on FoxSportsGo.com, as long as you subscribe to Fox Sports channels on your TV provider.

That's how I plan to keep any eye on things.

Wow! It's been a long time since I can remember seeing a bench like that in a cup match. Maybe League Cup from years ago?

I've only really seen 2 of those 7 play. OK 3 if you include seeing Dasilva for a few mins our last outing.

Not sure who is the English sounding PBP on FS2, but he might need to do his homework a little better? Said that Elephant & Castle is in North London... hmm.

Nice to see a bunch of Eastern European Gooners turning out for tonite's match.

Theo hits the post, then 2 mins later puts us up 1-0.

p.s. Nelson is looking to be a real confident attacking force.

Wilshere puts our 2nd in the net, BUT he's called offside. Wrongly it looked like to me.

Edit: Nevermind, Theo makes it 2-0 a few mins later. BATE is making it too easy for us tonight. Let's rack up a few more before they have a change of heart!
