June 1 Colorado Springs Switchbacks (USL) v. Arizona United SC (USL) Peoria Sports Complex – Peoria, AZ 9:30m
http://www.socceramerica.com/articl...wnership-of-arizona-united.html?edition=16066 A new ownership group has bought Arizona United SC from club founder Kyle Eng. The chief executive officer of the Kona Grill restaurant chain, Berke Bakay, leads the group of investors that has named David Farca as team president.
I have been to a few United games this season, and I was appalled at the Sounders 2 game on July 16th when the LFR 1881 (soccer supporters group) scared and tried to humiliate a Seattle fan in the stands who had come all the way from Seattle to watch the teams play. They were harassing the Seattle goalkeeper and by searching his social media, they used names and information from Twitter to taunt and literally scare this woman who had a similar name to someone they saw on his media. Using the bullhorn as a Bully Horn, she feared for her safety, which was an inexcusable way to treat a guest to our state! Security at the game tried to reassure her, but there was not much for them to do to get the LFR 1881 to stop their attack. In the end, Seattle won the game, and that fan left our state with a horrible memory of her visit to Arizona! I was back for the United vs. Monarch’s game last month, and was pleasantly surprised to hear the bullhorn was disallowed that night and the drum used by LFR 1881 was locked in a storage locker to which no one could find a key. It made for a much better night of soccer! Peoria Sports Complex is not the best for soccer, but it was more tolerable once the fans got to cheer in a more respectable way. Alas, United lost that night, as well.

They have been posting drone videos for the last couple of weeks. The last two I saw had graders smoothing out dirt. First game four weeks away.
For construction timeline perspective, Sacramento had the Bonney Field site prepped and was grading dirt first week of April. Stadium was finished just in time for a June 20th game. EDIT: there was a delay in late April (can't remember why). Bleacher construction started May 27th Here is a link to the construction thread if anyone is interested http://forums.bigsoccer.com/threads/stadium-watch-cal-expo-construction-thread.2001575/
I can't go until the third game anyway, so I figure they will have sorted the bugs out by that point.
Here's a link about stadium progress. Looking good. Very similar to Bonney Field. http://www.uslsoccer.com/news_article/show/767086?referral=rss&referrer_id=2364194
