    97-Tietz linked with 2BL Wehen.

meanwhile 99-Tepe who Osnabruck wanted to keep last season, ditched them for Fortund II and now seems to be leaving Fortuna. Worse part is that he barely played for II all season while Osnabruck got 2BL promotion. What a weird random of events, never been a fan of backwards move when a player in a level goes down a level, what's the point? In Tepe's part, if I recall he joined Fortuna for school reasons, if that really was the case it hurt his pro career. As 2018-2019 was a wasted season for him.

Transfer of Freiburg striker not happening.

The same applies to the personnel Christoph Daferner (21), which is also associated with the Essenes. The center forward met 14 times in the past season for the Regionalliga team of SC Freiburg and celebrated his debut in the Bundesliga. According to information from this editorial Daferner will join a second division.

seriously Titz wanted to waste Daferner's career buy tried to lure him to Rot-Weiss Essen from RL West. Wonder if it's
1-Permanent transfer with or without buyback
    2-Loan

Agreed but we always had the same issue with German players, vast gigantic majority don't want to leave Germany, they want to make it at home 1st.

if you had to pick between 2BL or 3rd/RL of course 2BL is better.

-Going on loan to 3rd Liga.

-looks like it's question mark as to whether 96-Baumgartl stays or leaves. Although if he leaves it opens up his spot for U19/II players.
    https://www.liga-zwei.de/vfb-stuttgart-baumgartl-vor-absprung/

-looks like Hertha Berlin will not loan out 00-Jastrzembski or 99-Baak
The offensive man has "the quality to help us at any time," says manager Michael Preetz from a whereabouts.

"We are convinced that Dennis Jastrzembski and Florian Baak will continue their positive development in the future. Both have made it through continuous work in the Hertha BSC football academy to be a part of the professional team. Now we want to support them in the best possible way, so that both can take the next steps, "explained Michael Preetz the contract renewals of Florian Baak and Dennis Jastrzembski. The 19-year-old Jastrzembski came to the professionals last season and had developed through his first appearances to one of the hottest Bundesliga youngsters. From the eighth match day, however, the winger came only twice in the Bundesliga for use, was again increasingly used in the A-youth and the second team. Dardai reason for its dwindling mission times was a "physical hole" out of which still inexperienced Jastrzembski had to work out. The homebuilder now has the chance to learn from the throats of his first professional season and make it better under Covic.

-while 98-Covic and 99-Dardai will go on loan.
"We are seeking a loan from Palko," confirms manager Michael Preetz the club's intention in relation to the offensive man,

Covic, according to the "kicker" last in the U23 of the Berlin as a tens of convincingly in action, was "ready for higher tasks than the Regionalliga," as announced by Preetz.

"He has developed very well, we want to lend him," confirms the official. For a loan, but a contract extension with the own plant should be necessary, Covics contract runs only until 2020.

-speaking of 99-Roczen who went to 3rd Liga. Wonder if he performs there next season, if Hertha buys him after 1-2 seasons?

-looks like Union want to loan 2 of their youngsters.
    99 GK Moser and 98-Taz

Taz seems to have 2BL-3rd Liga and Eredivisie interest but no names.

Interesting another sites states that Daferner has a 2021 contract with Freiburg. Not the 1st time, TM has errors especially for U19-RL players, also due to some of them having extension clauses which are unknown. Or it could be he renewed for 2 years and heading on loan.

if that is the case than either it's permanent move with buyback or a loan where he comes back in 2020 to Freiburg.

seriously why is Prus still involved with dfb? There is like 1-2 bums left that need to be axed.

Prus is coaching dfb U15, 04 group who will be U16 next season.

MICHAEL PRUS: "OTHER COUNTRIES WILL ALSO WORK GOOD"
Four games in the sports school Duisburg-Wedau are over. The U 15 sighting tournament under the direction of U 15 national coach Michael Prus is over. DFB.de talked to Prus about his impressions of the past days.

DFB.de: Mr. Prus, how is your tournament conclusion?

Michael Prus: I'm happy with the games. There were a lot of interesting players here who were technically good, looking for one-on-one situations and trying to think offensively without neglecting the defensive. I liked all that.

DFB.de: Did players also play in the foreground who had not been noticed before?

Prus: There were actually some players during the tournament who we did not have on the list so far.

DFB.de: What special skills do you look for as a classifier for players of this age group?

Prus: In this age group, one-on-one is an important aspect. This concerns both the offensive and the defensive. And there were good players in the teams in both directions.

DFB.de: What's next for the selected players?

Prus: The players we've come to notice will have the opportunity to train in two U16 national teams in August. We want to look at the guys even closer and get to know each other. And after the two courses, we already have the first international matches against Austria directly in September. And then it goes on gradually in the first round of the 2019/2020 season with games against Finland and the Czech Republic.

DFB.de: Finally - in the recent past, young talents from France and England in particular have come into the focus of the big clubs internationally. Where does German talent development stand in international comparison from your point of view?

Prus: We have to recognize right now that other countries are also working well in promoting talent. It is not without reason that some of the last results we achieved with our U-teams were not always that good. But for us, to invest more again now, requires more effort to develop the boys. And there are a lot of thoughts that we have in the U area and now we have to implement.

thought this was interesting from TM forum.

"Although, of course, it could solve some of the problems of these clubs if they no longer have to lend 5 or 6 A-youth-born players to practice and professional experience each year, or play in the U23 4th league. In the French model, that's exactly the opposite of German: Young French talents play in small clubs in the 2nd and 3rd league until they are old enough to move to the top clubs; Young German talents first switch to top clubs before being lent to small clubs in leagues 2 and 3, or handed over altogether, until they become too good for the lower leagues.
If you think about it, our approach looks rather shy by comparison."
    https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/deutschlands-nachwuchs/thread/forum/52/thread_id/157064/page/29

can't say I disagree, the big club syndrome that's prevalent everywhere in Germany doesn't really help. A ton of our players would have jumped 1st team in 2BL-3rd Liga clubs so fast, then jumping to 1BL would come a lot faster in their careers.

instead we get the big club syndrome where majority of players get dumped to RL and even the rated ones go on loan or waste like a season or 2 being back up players, not doing much. Some clubs are liars too, they say a player isn't ready for the 1st team in 1BL when in fact it's simply at this point in time, there are no spaces in 1st team, come back in 1-2 seasons and there will be openings.

how many players waste years in RL when they could have been playing higher in that period?

this also explains why France pump up so many pro players, faster than Germany does. France destroys Germany when it comes to exporting players as well. It's because the German pro model is the opposite of theirs. With us it's the slow burn/ Doesn't help that the training in German Youth was a mess that they started to fix this year.

I always hated that 2BL is a den for all the late 20s/early 30s guys who aren't good enough for 1BL. They don't play youth as much as they should. That really kills things that your inbetween 1BL and 3rd Liga and the highest non 1BL level.

crazy that a young Podolski is still last young player to take that league by storm back in 2004-2005. 98-Serra had the best 2BL season for a youngster in a long while.

also that 2BL does not play the same as 1BL does not help. An ex player stated that 2BL is more physical league while 1BL is more technical.

one interesting thing is the growing amount of interesting players this season who are going to 2BL on loan or permanent and add a few from their own Academies. If they are given chances, could be interesting next season.

WHAT TALENT HAS THE STUFF FOR BREAKTHROUGH?
Werder is looking for the new Eggesteins

Do you know Luc Ihorst or David Philipp?

The fans of Werder Bremen should remember these names. Like the South Tyrolean Simon Straudi and co-coach son Ilia Gruev, the U19 players will be run as professionals in the new season and will be able to sniff their big career. They are supposed to make first attempts at the Bundesliga team in preparation and play for the U23 in the regional league.

Manager Frank Baumann: "We want to be patient and introduce them piece by piece. Maxi and Johannes Eggestein are good examples. They show that it pays to stay sustainable and train hard. "

    WERDER SEEKS THE NEW EGGESTOCK!

The U21 national players were trained in Werder's junior performance center, managed despite the start-up the breakthrough in the pros. The club is expecting such a career from the current contenders.

    ► David Philipp (19)
The attacking midfielder was born in Hamburg, came in the past U19 Bundesliga season in 26 games to 20 goals and 20 assists - a very strong balance.

    ► Luc Ihorst (19)
The center forward came in 2012 from Osterfeine Vechta in Werders U13, later became U18 international. In the A-juniors, he met in 23 games seven times and prepared nine goals.

    ► Ilia Gruev (19)
The son of the future co-coach of the same name came in 2015 from Erfurt to Werder, acting as a defensive midfielder with a lot of overview.

But what is to be expected from the talents?

Baumann: "We trust the players the first and second Bundesliga within the next two to three years. But that does not mean that the boys will play Bundesliga in the first year. It's about first adapting to the men's football and collecting in the U23 match practice. "
    https://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/...alent-packt-den-durchbruch-62561762.bild.html

same story as Mbom I guess who was upped last Summer. They got a "plan" which involves 2-3 years before being ready. Sounds more of the no space in 1st team unless mass injuries. They will play preseason and train with 1st team but play RL during season.

Here was the last Mbom Update from May 26 2019.
WERDER BREMEN: COACH KOHFELDT SEES JEAN-MANUEL MBOM AS AN OPTION FOR THE FUTURE Kohfeldt sees in Jean-Manuel Mbom an option for the future of Werder Bremen and not necessarily for the present: "I do not want to exclude that he plays in the new season, a greater role in us than before. He has the footballing qualities. But it may also be that he first collects match practice elsewhere. "That means well: Lending to the Second League instead of jumping into the cold water at SV Werder.

    2-3 Plan seems to involve.
    1-2 years in RL
1 year on loan to 2BL
and that's your 2-3 year plan.

00-Mbom was upped earlier and played RL instead of his last U19 season in 2018-2019. So the question begs as Kohfeldt stated more RL+possible 1st team in 2019-2020 or does he go to 2BL on loan next season? very likely to have tons of interest in him. If he goes on loan next season, he ups his 1st team chances for real in 2020-2021.

what I find confusing about Bremen is all the players with pro contracts like Mbom, Gruev (provisionally capped by Bulgaria), Ihorst, Staudi (Italian) and Philipp. They make it seem like they will all make it in 1BL and all make it at Bremen. That doesn't seem realistic in the slightest. Staudi seems to be an ineffective attacker and to me he's the sticking point, I'm not sure why he was given a pro contract? Described as an AM......you got Philipp for that........or play CM........you got Mbom for that..................and Gruev is a DM and Ihorst is a striker.

00-Ihorst is another interesting 00 striker and seems rated at Bremen, even scoring in 1st team friendlies in May 2019 and training with pros during season. Although he's scored less than one expect with 7 goals and 9 assists in 23 games. But the impression I get from him is that he's one of those strikers who's game style allows others to shine. That his play allowed other players like Phillipp and Quarschie to play their game and score a ton. So while they get all the accolades for scoring a ton, he gets less hype. But even then he signed a pro contract in Summer 2018 that takes effect in Summer 2019. Speaking of Quarschie still no news about either II, pro contract or out.

now I'm curious to see what happens with 01 striker Memisevic (provisionally capped by Bosnia) and 02 striker Woltemade. Unless Woltemade busts in U19 , would be hard to see Bremen not be interested in dev him further.

speaking of 02 striker Woltemade, remainder that the kid has trained with the Bremen 1st team over the course of this season along with 02 Nankishi (W/CF). Never seen mention of 01-Memisevic makes me think he has to go to the next level next season to get consideration by Bremen.

Woltemade is a giant too, TM has him at 1.96 m. Wonder if that's 100% accurate or if he's could be taller than that?

-I'm curious what Fortuna plan to do with 00 striker Bornemann.
2 goals in 4 games in RL West, playing 137 min total and a goal every 69 min.

Has trained with the 1st team and even played a post season friendly where he played the full 90. In perspective the top scorer of FD II was at 8 goals, means he could have been the top scorer had he played all season in II.

I've seen tons of FD fans saying they would trust him and 00-Appelkamp in the 1st team. Fully expect him in II but will be curious to know what Fortuna plan with him?

-Same for 00 striker Malone at Augsburg.
4 goals in 5 games in RL Bayern, playing 354 min and a goal every 89 min.

Malone has played numerous 1st team friendlies and scoring as well including winner vs 2BL clubs. Made 1BL bench last season, unused and 1BL bench this season unused. I feel like his issue is that Augsburg struggled all season and they seem stacked uptop so might be harder for him to get chances. Still good start in RL should boost him.

-kind of a shame that 00-Breunig is part of a 3rd Liga club.
4 goals in 3 games in RL Bayern, playing 231 min and a goal every 58 min.

had tons of interest after his U19 Sud/Sudwest performances and RL performances. Well hope he does well in 3rd Liga and jumps up soon.

speaking of U19, I don't think any striker from the 3 leagues this season dominated as much as D.Otto last season.

    Interesting comment.

    Discussing Stuttgart youth.

    "Not by name
but at the regional conference Hitz apparently said that the 5 boys are raised, 1 of them from U21, and there is Grözinger just the only makes the sense."

if one of them is from U21, does that mean Stuttgart is promoting 4 U19 players? I also wonder if they will loan out someone to 3rd Liga.

makes sense their youth are interesting and exciting, they got relegated dumping vets and flops so they are focusing on youth. I don't think they would have been this generous had they survived 1BL, they would have went buy buy buy mentality.

Yes Woltemade is around 195-196cm, very tall but also skilled. He did say his best position is at AM tho, wonder if that’s a Alex Meier career path

Max Breunig is also around 194-195. If u compared him to Cyrill Akono in the same pic for DFB U19, You can tell Breunig is a giant, few inches taller than Akono. TM listed him at 178cm it’s a joke

OBM moving up next season, instead of wasting time in U19 he'll play 3rd Liga. If he performs he could make it easier for him to get a high level loan.

    -Here is the official announcement.

depending on how he develops in 3rd Liga, 00-Mekkonen attracting interest from low level 1BL clubs is possible. Same for any Bayern II player and other very young guys who impress in that league.

seems to be a 2 year contract.
"Naod is a young player with good dynamics and high ball aggressiveness. He has enjoyed excellent footballing training at Leipzig and brings with him a lot of potential. We want to build it carefully now and bring it to the level of the 3rd league, "said Malte Metzelder, managing director sports, on the up-and-coming talent, who is at home in the midfield.

Good for him that he skipped RL level. Now we need to know future of Majetschak (linked with Aue), Stierlin, L.Kruger, Hoppe from RB U19 no longer eligible.

but like I was saying previously we really are seeing more and more interesting and young players join 2BL this Summer. I do wonder though the risk of playing for Aue, Furth, Sandhausen (sans Wooten) is the relegation battle prospect.

    -97 Mehlem attracting Stuttgart interest.
    https://www.90min.de/posts/6389229-...rce=categories_page&view_medium=[top-stories]

    -Some Wolfsburg updates
OUT: Murat Saglam (provisionally capped with Turkey), Nico Pellatz, Amara Conde, Abdallah El-Haibi and Jan Neuwirt

Extensions: Luca Horn, Jannis Heuer and Adrian Goransch

While 97-Robin Ziegele seems headed for extension. Guy made the 1st team bench once this season.

Mostly he ran for the second team in the football regional league, Robin trained brick but also with the pros regularly - and it looks very much afterwards that the center-back extended his expiring contract at VfL Wolfsburg. "We are in good conversations," confirms Pablo Thiam, sports director of VfL young talent, on AZ / WAZ demand. Ziegele, one of the few true Wolfsburg in the team, went through several youth teams and made the leap in 2016 in the men's area. Over the years, it has become a solid pillar in the U23. "Robin has gone great," says Thiam. "Now it's up to him to confirm that. The fact that he was already allowed to practice with the professionals is an honor. "Especially with his dynamism, his fighting strength and his speed he could" take the next step in Wolfsburg ", says Thiam, who also says:" Now we will start the game work."

    Some more Bremen updates
David Philipp, Ilia Gruev, Fred MC Mensah Quarshie, Luc Ihorst, Pascal Hackethal, Henry Rorig and Felix Buer will be playing II next season as expected and Quarschie not leaving. Also seems like Gruev and Philipp for now seem headed for Summer 1st team preaseason.

looks like Quarschie also has a pro contract.

Great hopes rest mainly on Philipp and Gruev:
The duo may complete the summer preparation with the professionals. Philipp is considered an offensive all-rounder between midfield and storm, the creativity and Torgefahr together,

Gruev acting as a forward-looking, good passport on the six.
However, Florian Kohfeldt reminded that "the expectations of the two should not be overstated". First, the development of talent in the foreground, at Bundesliga missions you have to measure the two yet.

"Even more so for the other talents. Luc Ihorst and Fred MC Mensah Quarshie, for example, have already signed their professional contracts, but are also still in the midst of footballing development.

Ihorst brings with it the equipment of a genuine Nine: The attacker is considered as powerful, fast and assertive, but at the same time team-friendly.

Quarshie, on the other hand, can be used not only as a striker, but also as a right winger, is fast, robust and quite dangerous with 22 goals in the past A-junior season - although the whole truth of statistics is that he is also the regular penalty shoot-out of the team is. In the past, Quarshie was used partly in midfield to train technique and tactical understanding. His potential is now to bring the offensive man in the U23 on the court.

The technically good, but rather little robust Hackethal was considered at U17 times as one of the largest German defensive talents, slipped but recently something from the focus of the U-national teams. Nevertheless, the left-back has been set in the past season at Werder A-juniors.

As well as counterpart Rorig, who could convince, above all, by consistency and steady development, less by spectacular game.

With Buer rounds a goalkeeper talent from the rising star: The junior man was set in the U19 and was once allowed to participate in the goalkeeper training of professionals,

but the better professional perspective has clearly the nine days younger Luca Plogmann. However, the should be awarded in the third league, instead of spending another year in the U23.
    https://www.meinwerder.de/news_artikel,-sieben-talente-ruecken-auf-_arid,1836988.html

More Plogmann to 3rd Liga, as well as some words on each talent. So yeah Ihorst is exactly what I said yesterday a team player striker.
yeah Hackethal is a good example of a German U17 player who falls behind and loses NT relevance post German U17.

It's somewhat of a shame that Germany never bothered with Gruev. As U17 our 1st choice DMs were Cetin and Keitel. I mean Gruev has been talked about for ages as a good talent. Well it makes sense his dad is an ex Bulgarian NT player that he would choose to emulate him. Will be curious to see from all the 00 DMs who makes it best in 1BL.

98-Schubert, wth are you doing? I hope he stays in Germany, if he can go to Stuttgart that's better than Arsenal.

97-Okoroji On loan for the season to 2BL.

96-Oztunali to Augsburg?Maybe he'll finally be at a club where he can perform better than Mainz?

looks like 96-M.Eggestein is in contention to becoming Bremen's next captain.

-looks like Wolfsburg II #1 98-Menzel (also 1st team #3) might get a 3rd Liga loan. It's interesting that we could end up with
    98-Menzel
    99-Grill, Hoffmann
    00-Fruchtl and Plogmann

    in 3rd Liga next season.

-speaking of other 98-onwards GK seems like Schubert is joining Arsenal.
It also states that Arsenal is considering borrowing the "European prodigy" first. Contacts to English second division but also to German clubs were allegedly already made.

99 CB Suver might ditch relegated Stuttgart II to join FCN II in RL Bayern.

speaking of 00-Fruchtl, the 19 year old GK is wanted by Augsburg, Fortuna and Mainz. Although no guarantee he becomes #1.

What plans does Bayern have with Christian Früchtl?
    Talks with Bundesliga teams
Christian Früchtl from Bayern Munich is to be loaned to a Bundesliga club. Well, there have already been discussions with a club about a transfer.

Christian Früchtl is one of the greatest talents of FC Bayern Munich. Also internally one holds great chunks on the 19-year-olds. Especially President Uli Hoeneß puts great faith in the German youth national player and even trusts him the post as successor to Manuel Neuer. Even professional replacement goalkeeper Sven Ulreich praises his young colleague: "If he masters the step, then I see for him a very bright future - here at Bayern, but also for him personally."

That's why Fruchtl himself is seeking a two-year loan to the German House of Lords. Interested parties there are several, including Fortuna Dusseldorf, FC Augsburg and FSV Mainz 05. According Sport.de there were already discussions in this regard with the FCA. The Swabians are still looking for a goalkeeper for the next few years.

highlights issues with all 3 clubs. Mainz already have 2 GKs+98-Dahmen, not sure why they are interested. Fortuna makes less sense given they are bringing in a Man City loan army GK and then all that's left is Augsburg, if Kobel deal falls, that could be his best shot or even if Kobel deal succeeds could be easier given the Swiss GK has less experience.

although it says interested parties includes...... which means could be more. Wonder if 1BL loan fails if he ends up going on loan to 2BL?

99-Pfeiffer moving to 2BL Darmstadt. Once again seems like there are barely any youth chances at HSV.
